I’m Misbah Syed, an AI researcher and machinelearning engineer with over six years of industry experience building and deploying productiongrade AI solutions across R&D, manufacturing, finance, and healthcare. As the founder of Menlo Park Lab, I’ve created AIpowered SaaS products—including BrainyDocs, BrainyRead, and Builtbyou.

I won first prize in both the Semantic Search Global AI Hackathon (Cohere & Lablab) and the Multilingual Semantic Search Hackathon (Qdrant, Cohere & Lablab), and I’ve worked in collaboration with the MITIBM Watson AI Lab to deliver industrial ML applications. In previous roles I built Azure Databricks pipelines for healthcare AI, established predictivemaintenance systems saving $100 K+ per year, and optimized process controls that generated over $2 million in annual benefits.

I hold Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering, a Machine Learning Engineering certification from Fourth Brain (Andrew Ng’s AI Fund), and completed specializations in TensorFlow on GCP, Deep Learning, and fullstack web development.
