Parenting Teens with Confidence: Certified Practitioner (Udemy.com)

I'm a professional Coach with many certifications. The course was ok but a bit shallow, I would have needed more tools to help my clients with parenting. Most of the information given are kind of counter-intuitive for professional coaches.

As a parent I didn't learn too much that I hadn't already done with my own kids. Much of this program was focused on college selection/attendance. I wish it was a bit more diverse touching on social issues today. Teen pregnancy, withdrawal, better tools to discourage drinking and drugs and peer pressure. Some of the stories/examples dragged on seemingly without a point. That was confusing at times. But with this said, the presentation was comfortable and well paced.

I enjoyed the interviews and was very impressed that doctor's and other high prestige individuals uses the concept from the work you have provided on the video. The video was very impressive and I have learned a quite bit. It made me walk away with knowing I am on the right track of pursuing my own happiness and instilling it to my grand daughters. · The instructor was very engaging and knowledgeable and very passionate when delivering the course. · There are many opportunities to apply what I learned. For example, I work with children and what I learn can be applied to my daily work. · The explanations and concept was very clear as examples were provided along with evidence based practice model shared as well (Mark Seligman). · What I liked about the program was examples, articles and interviews that was conducted on campus with the students. The articles were very helpful as well. · The key takeaways to make the course I completed practical and useful in my life is the articles I have read that was posted in the modules. What I learned as a whole I will utilize in my daily practice. · I am going to use the information that was presented within the practice and working with children in after school program. · The key reasoning for choosing this program was to enhance my skills.

It is a well-structured informative course. The assignments are also meaningful. It has helped me to acquire new knowledge like PERMA Model, Growth Mindset etc. The instructor presented it very well by utilizing his wisdom and experiences. This course will help parents to guide and motivate their teen children. Thanks a lot, Braco. Have a great day!

I loved the course, I am a single mom of two boys of my own and I have a foster son as well. I have been using positive parenting since my children were born. This course truly validated my way of parenting. Braco is an amazing speaker and teacher. I may just have to pass this course onto some of my friends because it's a great class to take when you have children. Thank you!

I love the assignment questions after each lecture in the first section, giving pause for reflection and allowing the content to "take hold". Braco is contagious in his passion for this subject. I really believe this course will help me as I expand my area of influence as a parenting coach, as well as help me navigate the teen years with my own children, guiding them in their pursuit of positivity and wholeheartedness.

I am a parent with two pre-teen kids, 12 years and 10 years old. A lot of the attitudes mentioned in this course have already started, the I know everything and mummy does not understand, uncooperative, etc. Knowing that this is a fact and a stage of growth helped me a lot to understand the key causes and what is best to do in those circumstances.

Perhaps, as a parent of 8 kids, I have learned the vast majority of this information over the years. I wanted to be more engaged (a change of background would have helped) and be offered insights, options, ideas I hadn't thought of in my 20+ years of parenting. I do feel we can always learn from each other, hence my enrolling in the class. I do not believe I will be taking more of his courses.

Amazing experience!!! I love the idea that the instructor combined three programs into this one and gave us many additional lectures. Thank you so much for doing that. This course made me think how I can improve and be a better parents. In addition I can use the tools learned here to be a better coach. A win -win for everyone. A huge thanks for this class!
