When I went to file for probono assistance I found out that there are video that must be watched there that actually certify the seeker. www dot uspto- dot gov/video/cbt/certpck/index dot htm (close the gaps ) the video is extremely informative. The lecturer for this course did not mention it

I received some decent knowledge about Trademarks and Patents. Plus the course provide a walkthrough on how to do a simple trademark application. However, they will need to update it using the new USPTO.gov website.

Excellent course to understand Trademark law, which I mostly needed for my work. The content is up-to-date and the course lectures are easily understandable. The instructor knows what to cover and what is needed and his lecture follow-through is great. I would definitely recommend it.

I like the outline of the course. The instructor speaks clearly and use simple language. He makes a complicated subject and easy to understand. The contents of the course is exactly what I wanted when I purchase a lesson.

I found this course to be a bit harder for me to keep up with than my previous. However, all of the given information is so needed to be successful with setting up a legitimate business. The instructor did very well explaining these intricate topics; I was able to understand the lessons with no prior knowledge of patents. I really appreciate the FAQ at the end of the course.

I am very impressed with this presentation and also pleased that the instructor validated my 17 years of hands on experience in IP law and prosecution. For anyone who is unfamiliar with IP law but wants or needs to learn - this course is for you. (As for me, now that I am furloughed I am rethinking my next step). This is a GREAT primer for a new business owner or a paralegal interested in IP law.

A very thorough and informative course on patents and trademarks. The instructor, a patent attorney, presents the information in a well-organized, straightforward manner and provides examples. I enjoyed taking this course and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about the patent/trademark process.

Very good course on patent and trademarks given by an honest lawyer! The pace is just right and you will hear him say such things as "litigation is costly, choose your battles" (rare for a lawyer). I would have taken more in dept about patent filing though. Great course. All this can probably be found on you tube but paying 12$ to get it all organized and clearly explained was well worth it.
