Course Description
What do you want to be known for? If others were to describe you, what would they say? Your personal brand is your calling card. A carefully crafted brand is, and will be, a crucial part to your success as a professional and a leader, especially a female leader.
The ability present yourself as a compelling leader (or aspiring leader) can dramatically accelerate your professional success. Dorie Clark – a Duke University Fuqua School of Business professor, former presidential campaign spokesperson, and Harvard Business Review author – will show you how to cultivate a powerful professional reputation as a female professional that enables you to persuade others, obtain buy-in more easily for your best ideas, and make a bigger impact.
Whether you struggle to navigate and come across the way you think a leader should, or if you’re accomplished in your career but want to be more intentional with the messaging that you send, this course will equip you to authentically shape the story your brand tells.
Specifically, this course will cover how to…
· Communicate your brand effectively to others
· Establish and cultivate your reputation over time
· Increase your influence within and outside your organization
· Ensure others understand your true leadership abilities
A strong personal brand is valuable for everyone, but it’s especially helpful for female professionals. By cultivating a personal brand, it ensures that you're recognized for the unique talents you bring.

The topic was a good match, but the content very general. It could easily apply to men as well. Women face so many challenges & suggesting basic things like speak up more brings little value.

For me, confident, impactful communication isn't just a nice skill to have for women—it's often essential for career success and creating more equitable workplaces. I also believe that it creates cultural change within organizations and helps normalize women in leadership positions,

it’s good to learn the ladies’ priorities and their contribution to family and society towards building a reasonable and valuable future generation without compromising the nature and integrity. To gift their own kids of next generations. There is no end for accumalating wealth and title!

i feel it does not tough the important 'questions'... in the phycological direction i mean. it is not something that i can apply to my core as a person but rather to get an understanding and regulate some effects of my core personality

Dorie's courses here on Udemy are really great! This is the 4th one I took and all of them were short, to the point and valuable. Besides being pleasant to listen to, Dorie gives clear directions on what steps to take to achieve desired results.

Easy to watch. Easy to grasp. In general I think leadership could be taught without gender specifying . This course is more about how to be an adult in the workplace. Yes, be confident, be nice without losing authority, etc...And everyone could benefit by learning not to uplift on the end of a sentence.

Short and strait to the point lessons to try out for individuals that are in their journeys of discovering and building their personal brand.

Dorie provides great tips. They are very effective. In many cases, you follow all the tips, but at the end of the day, when your management still refuse to recognize you, what then? That's what I was hoping to get out of this training. Will look at other videos.

Full of (sometimes hard) truths and practical ways to move from concept to action. A brilliant courses to revisit for micro learning and reinforcement. Love Dorie's style and tone.
