I really enjoyed the course and there was a lot of information covered in a short period of time. One of the better online courses that I have taken this year! Thanks so much

Dr. Johnstone's course provided real examples of the types of challenges one can face and tools (including templates) to use in order to work through the challenges to make them less overwhelming. His videos are engaging and he demonstrates his expertise along with his passion for helping others build resilience. I recommend this course for anyone who seeks more resources to add to their toolkit in order to build resilience in his or her life.

I have no idea where to get all these outstanding stories on resilience. It would have been better if the instructor gave us some stories to view rather than an order to go find them ourselves w/out telling us where we might view them.

I liked the short and sweet approach backed up by the Penn data (why it is so important to actually help people with this topic versus relying on medicine...). Also of value is the need to have strong relationships, but focus on relationships with people that can help you versus drag you down or make the situations worse though poor advice or limited knowledge. The strategies were short and to the point and if you want more information outside of this course, then its certainly available. I loved the final strategy and workmat, such a practical and useful tool to use with clients and for ourselves come to that.

Honestly, don’t think he could have done a better job. I liked that it was focused on self-growth (the self as the study of the subject being taught) while teaching all the important points. There was a deep simplicity to it—that is, he understood the subject inside and out and therefore he was able to explain everything in simple terms in a short period of time. I also responded well to the media platform with animated drawings/writing. Kept me engaged.

Demasiado rápido y poco tiempo para entender conceptos si son la primera vez que los oyes. La transcripción muy mala y no entiendo por que no lo pasan a español para hacernos la vida mas fácil.

This is a fantastic resource from Chris Johnstone, who presents a range of ways for growing resilience through a series of short video clips. Chris’s style of delivery is lively and engaging and his enthusiasm, knowledge and experience shine through. Although I have completed the course, it’s great to know I can dip into it again whenever I want to. I highly recommend this package - a really useful resource for people who are going through organisational changes. Ann A. Reid, Executive Coach & Coach Supervisor

I found the course very clear, concise and engaging. The images, examples and practices throughout really aided my learning and kept my attention. The material covered is very applicable to my work as a psychotherapist, life coach and mentor. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to other colleagues, friends and clients. I also feel inspired to take this forwards both on a professional and personal level.

great presentation, clear, concise, step-wise, thoughtful strategies with examples, supplemented by engaging graphics, complementary music and very useful pdf handouts and a reading list. This is a brilliantly clear training for anyone learning how to become more resilient. It will help me to help myself but also my patients. Thank you very much Dr Johnstone. I look forward to attending more of your lectures. (Dr S Hetheirngton, G.P).

There's much more than an hour's worth of positive advice in this course, there's a huge amount of wisdom and support from the instructor, Chris Johnstone. He's very engaging, fluent, clear, and enthusiastic, he explains his ideas concisely but coherently so that I felt I really understood how to go about developing my own resilience, working through the exercises he provides to raise my mood. The production quality is high, with unfussy graphics that reinforce his points and music that bobbles along happily but unobtrusively.
