This is a 3.4 hour introduction to plumbing systems, split into 23 lectures across 10 sections. Just over two hours go to the main categories and components of water supply and drainage, with a shorter block on reading engineering drawings. It is pitched at everyone from homeowners to mechanical engineers, but the syllabus shows an orientation and vocabulary course. There are no quizzes or exercises, so it is watch and absorb. About 7,800 students have enrolled.

Reviewers starting from zero are mostly happy. Of 721 ratings, 400 are five stars, and the praise is for clear audio and lessons that are well organized and easy to follow. Complaints come from people with some background. Several call it very basic, say the visuals are general pictures rather than technical drawings, and say the delivery is padded. One reviewer says it could have been half an hour. Another notes nothing on backflow protection required in Texas.

I loved the course , I found it was explained in a very nice and simple fashion making it easy to grasp. The only thing that felt a little bit of a disappointment was the fact that the dual certification being a limited period offer was shared only in the end. My learning does not require a certificate but someone somewhere could need it immensely and telling it at the end gives a sour taste in the mouth. Overall the course itself is excellent! and worth doing !

Thank you for this course. This fits the name Design Basics and is explained quite well. Only one bothered me during this course - sticking to one straightforward still image and talking (good talking) about imaginary things related to words on this image. Please, add some general views of piping elements, not picking on some coloured pixels on this big screen, and your lectures will hit the next level. Personally, I have some experience with piping and ducting (not professionally), so I can grasp the ideas from the speech. Not sure about really fresh tech siking for Design Basics. Anyway, I have got what I expected from the course. Thank you.
