This was a great course. Very well explained and detailed. API is outdated which is mentioned in the details but working around with the new pro --but still free-- API helps to learn and everything still works perfect.

The course is out of date which leads to a critical error when trying to connect. The author made note two years ago he planned on updating it but has failed to do so. I made due by using a different API and a little basic preexisting coding knowledge but for brand new coders, it may be an issue. Once past the API issue, the content is very good, even after a few years of dabbling with Python I picked up a few new tricks. The pace is great, no unnecessary lengthy stories about why something works the way it does etc - just the brass tacks.

The course is pretty obsolete. CoinMarketCap needs a login key now and I have to keep searching for where to pick up the https call since it's all been changed. Also the code the instructor is doing like making the computer speak is pretty much for MAC OS which I'm pretty sure a lot of students are not using it. Anyway, the topic i think is good but the content is pretty old. Either retire this course or update it please for the next students who may not be as knowledgeable in programming.

At the start of this course I knew next to nothing on cryptocurrencies but through Python and Ian's teaching I learnt a lot about Python itself and the dominance blockchain has on the world. Overall, great course and has inspired me to create projects like this one, keep up the great work!

I saw the youtube video which has the first bunch of videos on there. It was a nice tutorial, which is why I signed up. It would be better if the whole youtube video wasn't split into so many files on here. Also, it seems there was an update to the CMC API, so the tutorials will now be outdated. Still interesting to go through..

I love the fact that I have learned how to create applications using the API for gather information in real time. I love knowing that I can create other applications for other projects for work using his methods and approach to resolve problems and to make the code efficient and to tailor it to the needs of my organization. Thanks!

Course was great and well worth the price. However, I would not get this course UNLESS you have some familiarity with Python. If you know the basics of Python, you will LOVE this course.

Excellent course! While I already know some in python, it was great to learn things like writing to excel files and how to create nice looking tables. Very informative. Very helpful and highly recommended.

A thoroughly invigorating, stimulating and informative course. I have learnt so much, and I have completed it more quickly than I intended just because of the high interest I had. Now it's time to catch up on sleep.
