Holczer Balazs
My name is Balazs Holczer. I am from Budapest, Hungary. I am qualified as a physicist. At the moment I am working as a simulation engineer at a multinational company. I have been interested in algorithms and data structures and its implementations especially in Java since university. Later on I got acquainted with machine learning techniques, artificial intelligence, numerical methods and recipes such as solving differential equations, linear algebra, interpolation and extrapolation. These things may prove to be very very important in several fields: software engineering, research and development or investment banking. I have a special addiction to quantitative models such as the Black-Scholes model, or the Merton-model.

It was a nice experience as I got to know all the concepts of Python from the basics. And I also got to know all the minute things, small functions, concepts, etc. Overall it was a good experience about this course. Mostly I like how he teaches the concept; for example, he explained it very well in the Dining Philosopher problem.

Useful course if you are looking for an introduction to Python programming language; it offers a great overview of the main features of Python with examples and exercises. For a deep knowledge on any of them, better search for a specific course.

some of the settings that you are referring to are hard to find in my end so it will be helpful if you elaborate more on that. and also the texts on your screen are to o small so I have a hard time reading those

Significant amount of information with examples for creating threaded programs using the threading module. That is the strength of the course as you would expect. Learned information to get off the ground with numpy and pandas and the mysql database. Useful but introductory in nature. Significant amount of python programming information that would be useful for someone needing to improve on their python skills.

Example codes are incomplete, had to add some references myself, instructor just explains what are libraries with no tips and tricks. For example he tells vectorization is fastest, but doesn't tell why not everyone using vectorization only. When to use apply() instead etc. Course is for beginners only, instructions are clear therefore a 4 from me.

Finally I have found a professor which I feel like he is pouring the information in my head. Thank you Balazs. Yes, the accent. No problem, I'm hungarian too

Great course for beginners! The pace is amazing and the examples are easy. More lessons on multicore parallel computing (although not efficient in Python) would be amazing.

I have specifically chosen this course for multi thread concepts and course make it easy for you to gain the knowledge in no time. Happy to be enrolled to this course.
