The lecturer is really droney and does not show enthusiasm and is very slow and has occasional pauses

This is a good course for beginners to ruby's syntax and code structure. It covers the very basics of the language and should serve as a stepping stone onto more complex tasks in the language.

I do feel that beginners to programming with no Object Oriented experience my take a bit longer to get to grips with the object approach used in Ruby.

It's looks like Python programmer thinks Ruby language should looks the same. Before that he should read ruby docs in site: ruby-lang.org

Show all examples of Class and method in terminal. I think, it terrible decision. You can't even understand what was before and what he trying to do. Like when he shows inheritance in lecture 50. All Class better to show in IDE and not in terminal.

And one of terrible things they delete all descussions that I wrote!!!

Very good course for beginners and very well taught. The instructor explained every topic in a way that was easy to understand. The production quality is quite good, but in a few videos the sound quality was poor, or the sound disappeared (in one video).

I think it is a good introduction to absolute beginners. the concepts of oop were fairly explained and one could learn how to deal with unexpected behaviour. looking forward to see some follow up material.
