Instructor is competent, but talks extremely quickly and slurry and is difficult to understand. Explanations are almost nonexistent, and you need to already have an idea of programming to get anything at all from this course. Mistakes were made and left unedited. Also the literal belch he left unedited in video 9 was especially unprofessional.

Great teacher, you can learn a lot and in the easy way.Just he should code in the course in a IDE/Text Editor, is weird on the prompt/command line.

Explanations and examples mainly to easy. Little bit chaotic. Few errors. Advising comments as good practice is really outdated. Code should explain the solution by itself. Comments should clarify the reasons when they are not obvious.

The course is good as a backgrounder. And so is the explanation. But sometimes his use of English is different from the way I understand it. It takes a while for the lessong to sink in.

Great free intro to ruby. I honestly have been doing the codecademy ruby course and I'm 25% in but wasn't able to figure out how to get ruby on my machine.

I find that this course is helpful while reading Peter Cooper's beginner Ruby book. Basically it's what you'd expect from a course on Ruby for beginners. Good Job.

Nothing is explained as far as why things are being used and you have to buy the rest of the video after 88% of the course. Might be good for someone that wants to get a refresher...maybe. I know I can't do any better that's why I don't...
