SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) is used to create a forecast of market demand for your company's products. This component allows you to take into consideration the many different causal factors that affect demand. The result of APO Demand Planning is the demand plan.
Demand Planning is a powerful and flexible tool that supports the demand planning process in your company. User-specific planning layouts and interactive planning books enable you to integrate people from different departments, and even different companies, into the forecasting process. Using the DP library of statistical forecasting and advanced macro techniques you can create forecasts based on demand history as well as any number of causal factors, carry out predefined and self-defined tests on forecast models and forecast results, and adopt a consensus-based approach to reconcile the demand plans of different departments. To add marketing intelligence and make management adjustments, you use promotions and forecast overrides. The seamless integration with APO Supply Network Planning supports an efficient S&OP process.

Training could have been more systematic, should have more had more depth and slides to show in big letters the transaction, steps, likely errors and objectives of the sub lessons. But overall very helpful and sincere effort by the trainer...I am glad I attended it and will look forward to next topics from APO from the trainer.

I am still trying to understand this lecture but the recorded voice quality gets just soooo worse in the latter videos... and his Indian accent English is very hard to understand. it was somewhat okay in the beginning lectures, but as with latter videos,, i feel like i'm training his accent not the course itself... please record again some lectures with bad qualities and please put subtitles...

I wish these videos could have been properly explained with the explanation. Most importantly some topics including SNP and PP/DS were not covered.

Being new to DP - My expectation was to understand the concepts along with Practical. The Practical part is explained nicely in the course but not the theory one

The course is very helpful for beginners in SAP APO DP to get a grasp on the topics. It'll gear you to make a start in the practical world. However you need to get your hands dirty with real world situations to became an expert in APO DP and this course will help you to make that start. Thanks udemy for a concise and well prepared tutorial, it gave freshers like me a understanding of the basic building blocks of SAP APO DP. Please release similar videos for SAP APO SNP and PP/DS.

Overall very good. Gave a good understanding and functioning of the SAP DP. I recommend adding more examples in Macros. Please, add the topic of Alerts.

Pace is to slow. Too much time spent in BW basics, and not in APO. Also the lack of downloadable materiales (Presentations and excersies) makes hard to follow the instructor. Quizzes to evaluate our knowledge is missing. Some of the lectures had really poor audio quality
