Our take
Based on the ratings of 24,170 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in May 2020. No course pays to be reviewed.
This is a 2.5 hour introduction to SAP ERP for people who will use it at work, not build or configure it. It runs 31 lectures across five short sections: Getting ready, Getting started, Getting closer, Getting along and On Target. Each topic is shown in a live system right after it is explained. Ulrika Garner, a freelance materials management consultant, teaches it. There are no requirements, and the audience list is blunt that anyone with IT experience will find it too basic.
Students mostly like the calm delivery. About 88 percent of the 24,170 ratings are four or five stars, and reviewers call the videos clear, bite sized and easy to follow. One says it covers the basics needed on the first day of using SAP. Garner's voice gets described as soft and calm. The complaints are consistent too. Some find it too slow, and one watched at 1.5x. Another says the tone feels talked down, and a couple wanted to practice in a live system alongside. One calls it superficial.
The last update was in May 2020, so screens may differ from what a current employer runs. One 2026 reviewer wondered about relevance, though another said it still holds up. It is short and paid, and it sits beside S/4HANA and module courses in the SAP category. Treat it as a first-day orientation, not a qualification. If you already work in IT, or want hands-on exercises, look at those other SAP courses instead.
Pros
- Short bite sized videos: 31 lectures in about 2.5 hours
- Each topic is shown in a live SAP system right after the explanation
- Calm, soft spoken teaching that reviewers find clear and easy to follow
- Covers first-day basics like looking up transactions and user information
Cons
- Pacing is slow; one reviewer watched at 1.5x and called it superficial
- Last updated in May 2020, so the interface may look dated
- Mostly watching, little practice; reviewers wanted to work in a live system
Still good in 2026. SAP is not a user friendly SW, this course gives the basics to at least get you through looking up transactions, user information, etc. basic information needed on the first day of SAP use.
Genuine beginners with no IT background fit best; the audience list says prior IT knowledge makes it too slow.
What you will learn

“This SAP course was a good match for me because it gave me a solid foundation in core modules and practical exercises that I can apply in my work. While I would have appreciated more in-depth coverage of advanced topics, the overall experience was positive and aligned with my learning goals.”

The course looks good I have watched its 19 lectures, but I have no idea weather these lectures are still relevant in 2026 or not?

i use SAP at work, but never have a formal training, so it could be a good start

Concise and beginner-friendly content. While it doesn’t aim to make you an expert, it provides a solid foundation to get started. As an Application Architect, I recommend this resource for anyone looking to understand the fundamental SAP landscape. However, the material is somewhat dated and does not cover newer technologies such as SAP BTP.

Everything was very clear. It’s very suitable for absolute beginners. Many thanks!
