Course Description

Future proof your career by expanding your knowledge into SAP EDI Supply Chain, one of the most in demand skills in today's SAP market.

Added for 2022 : Debugging SAP Enterprise Services / Webservices Interface.

This is not just another Idoc or EDI course.  SAP roles don't stop at Idocs creation so why should this course! Instead, this course covers the how to implementation the Supply Chain Interfaces using industry standard messages (like EDIFACT and X12),  middleware,  and SAP Idocs.  If you want to know about SAP interfaces, this is the course.

Want to improve your knowledge in SAP's Supply Chain EDI technology? Want that role in SAP? Want to know how SAP inbound and outbound interfaces are configured and what values are required to get them work? Should you update the delivery date or confirmation date on a purchase order once it is confirmed? Or why the purchase order and sales order uses the ORDERS Idoc?

This course answers all of that, and which cheat sheets!

With today's growing complexity in the area of Supply Chain and all most, if not all communication being done electronically, , having experience, expertise and knowledge in this area is essential in today's job marketplace.

That is why I am excited about this course. This course covers BOTH the business context how the process should work and how it is to be configured in SAP R/3, across the different modules in SAP. No other course will cover these SAP modules in this kind of scope as to give you an end to end vision of the SAP Supply Chain EDI & Idoc Architecture. This is usually the role of SAP SCM Solution Architect and it takes years of experience to understand all of the integration points.

The course will cover Supply Chain topics such as :

  • The Purchase Order & Sales Order model. This includes both order creation and order confirmation

  • Outbound delivery, Post Goods Issue and ASN process and Idoc creation

  • Shipment tendering and status updates

  • Invoice creation and clearing

  • Enterprise Services

This course covers the Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM) , Purchasing, and Transportation, Account Receivable modules of SAP.

On the SAP side, we will be covering

  • The configuration of each and every Idoc used in the process. This includes both the partner determination and message outputs

  • A cheat sheet so that you have all of the setting at your finger tips as to implement any of these Idcos

  • What values, qualifiers and setting are required to process an inbound Idoc

  • SAP "Best Practice" when implementing Idocs.

Very interesting and informative. To get full understanding of this course (especially once the idoc debugging and error handling mgmt as well as proxy , https etc), people needs to have s/w and IT knowledge (good level) and how these things works. Otherwise, it feels too much info.. But overall I liked it. Thank you.

The parts about SAP, EDI & E2E processes were pretty good. I would skip the parts about "meta learning" (learning how to learn) and middlewares/proxy servers if it didn't explicitly mean SAP middlewares because those were pretty outdated in context of technologies and best practices. Overall, good course if you want to understand SAP and EDI integrations better.

Because SAP covers such a wide range of processes and modules, I’m constantly required to learn new things to meet various client expectations. I often use Udemy, but many courses are long, include unedited live interactions, and the fast English sometimes makes me give up halfway. When I watched your SD process course, I was impressed by the clear explanations and the comfortable speaking pace—it really showed the expertise of someone with major consulting experience. Do you also offer a COPA course? I’m excited to continue learning through your content. Thank you.

It's very good training program overall, information from previous courses be repeated sometimes in later training can help to remind me what has learned. But session 48 is a little bit out dated since many companies are using TM in S4 HAHA. Shipment is not in use anymore.

Yes, it was a good learning course for who having the SAP functional background, this course will help them more to understand the IDOCs and its data transmission from SAP to 3PL plants or locations.

Great contented better explanation (clear English). Good documentation but it could be even better if attached in the course with the same detail as the explanation related in the corresponding videos. Good course for beginners-medium level knowers about IDOC/EDI.

Really enjoyed Abdul's SAP EDI course. His way to conducting the course with clear instructions will be very helping for any consultant venturing into SAP EDI consulting. Abdul's way of speaking is slow, concise and clear. Highly recommended.

Navigation through SAP system is good, Happy that I learned all about IDOC stuff in SAP . But course could have been reduced less 3.5 hours , as it has more theory . Overall satisfied with the course. Thanks.

Udemy is asking me this question early (just at 14th video). Please wait, will revert. BTW, whatever watched so far is well organized, easy to understand. I will rate at the end again if system permits (laughs)...
