SAS Training by Reviewing and Solving Certificate Questions (Udemy.com)

I enjoyed the format of the course: given question, comments related to a given problem, tested solution. In my opinion the course would be a good choice for someone who already has some basic knowledge of SAS syntax

The material is very helpful. And the concepts are well-explained. My only suggestions would be: make the guide book so that each section can be copied and pasted (some Qs are .jpgs), and the presenter's cadence is a little dragging, but is easily remedied by setting video playback speed to 1.25 or 1.5

It takes so much time to listen to each video again to do a revision. It could have been good if the instructor provides the answer key in a document. Whatever the answers provided as odd/even pattern, they don't match with the videos. It is just a waste of a time if you quickly do a revision!

I just came back from my SAS Base Programmer Certificate exam and passed on the first go (81%) - thank you! The exercises presented in that course helped me a lot and few questions were identical. I think it would be very helpful to provide subtitles for the course in the future - I understood your accent well but it was difficult to tell few words apart sometimes

This was a complement to other resources for SAS Base9 certification preparation. I used the U-Certify practice exams, the SAS Base9 ($55 dollars) practice exam, a couple of books (read front to back), this video instruction, and occasional time practicing with SAS Studio University Edition. As a person new to SAS and not as young as most who do this, the total time spent was 3 months, working 1 to 2 hours a day, for 5 days a week. Watched this video at a rate of about 3-8 problems per viewing. I like how it is an overall review and thus, helpful at any stage of the learning process. Glad to be moving onto the Advanced SAS videos. Thank you!

It is a good course to practice SAS Base question and getting the minute details and hidden things that we may not observe while reading the books. But I sincerely request the instructor to reply to the questions asked on the portal. I never got any reply to the asked questions. Over all a good course for SAS Base certification.

Clear explanation and the questions are nicely designed. Question on lecture 75 needs to be clarified. Should the answer be 10 instead of 9 as there are missing values from mem3 all along to mem12?

The teacher of this course goes through each multiple choice and explains why it's correct or incorrect. That is extremely helpful, especially with the tricky questions. A word to the wise: if you're a beginner like me, study your SAS books to familiarize yourself with every syntax, statement, function, and so on. In my opinion, this course is NOT enough to pass the test, but it is an excellent resource for understanding what the questions are asking and how the answer choices are either correct or incorrect.

Very good range of topics. Instructor does a good job of bringing up subtleties in SAS programming that tend to trip one up. It also really helps to see examples for most of the problems, even the seemingly more theoretical one's. Thanks for this great course.
