Dr. Michael Biocchi's course is a short, non-technical primer on staying safe online, written mainly for ordinary employees. It runs about 2.5 hours across 28 lectures and nine sections: phishing, social engineering, data leakage, passwords, safe browsing, personal devices, general tips and a newer block on AI. Seven quizzes close out the sections. The only requirement is a browser, and the course is aimed at people who use the web or email at work.
Reviewers like how plain and practical it is. One says the quizzes match the material, another found the slides easy to follow and the course simple to take on a phone. One reviewer who has done many similar programs says this one actually deals with AI. Spanish-speaking students say it helped them spot suspicious emails. The complaints are about delivery. One finds the narration monotone, another wants a slower pace, and two say points get repeated and stretched out. One reported videos not starting.
