This is where most training on self-awareness falls short. It only considers the basic understanding and doesn’t take into consideration the unconscious bias that directs the awareness.

  
  

• Have you ever heard of the saying “the grass is greener on the other side”? Often termed a syndrome, it is more accurately an outward manifestation of the Contrast Effect Bias. Judgments become relative based on comparison between 2 objects, 2 people or 2 circumstances. These contrasts are not absolute self-awareness but purely conceived from perception. It is this distinction which needs to be addressed.
