I found this course very beneficial in advancing my level of statistical knowledge. It is a thorough treatment of mathematical statistics requiring: - knowledge of calculus up to Fourier and Laplace transforms - number series, especially the binomial expansion - good familiarity with combinatorics and complicated summations For the more advanced student, this is a good route to the next level of understanding but if you do not yet know what the Gamma function is, you may be better off with a more basic introduction as this is not a beginner-level course.

Instructor Bio
Hello students, I am Shilank Singh. I was born and raised in Mumbai, India. My interest in maths developed at an early age when I started attending pre-school. I attended Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and post graduated in 2013 with a degree M.Sc. in Mathematics. In the fall of 2013, I was hired to teach Engineering Mathematics at Mumbai University and I have taught there for three years. Currently, I live in New Delhi and work as a Maths and Statistics Tutor over here since January, 2017.
