Usama Shafi's Shopify course is a 7.2 hour walkthrough of the admin side of running a store. It runs 139 lectures across 10 sections: theme design, products, orders and customers, promotions and analytics, store settings, launch, then Facebook pixel and ad campaigns. Nothing is required beyond using a web browser, and the audience list points at first-time owners, side hustlers and crafters. About 1,468 students have joined, and the rating is 4.6 from 453 reviews, with 392 of those at five stars.

Happy reviewers keep saying the same thing: it is well organized, the teaching is easy to follow, and the task lists help them apply each step right away. The criticism is just as consistent. Several low-star reviews say parts are outdated, and one notes the interface is from 2022 and doesn't match what shows up on screen. The syllabus fits that, since a 97 minute section is titled as the outdated 2022 course, even though the last update was May 2026. One reviewer found it too fast. Another spotted duplicated lessons and objected to an AI voice over the listing doesn't mention.

Seven hours is a short commitment, and the Facebook section gives some marketing context beyond basic setup. There are no quizzes or graded exercises, so practice is on you. 1- deceiving and misleading (using fake photo on the cover and ai voice over) at least it should have been mentioned. 2- couple of lessons are duplicated, some are duplicated with different title. (section 5 - 59. Discussing Sales Channels Settings) - I say all this because I came here with a background of knowing how to build a WordPress and Shopify websites, but i wanted to learn more or at least pick up some missing pieces.
