Shopify Power: Build An Ecommerce Website Using Shopify (Udemy.com)

I want to set up a Shopify store. I wanted to invest in a course first before jumping into paying for a store. My funds are extremely limited. I learned that I should have some funds set aside before jumping into a Shopify store. My estimate is with the $79.99/month for a store and allowing for other plugins, I should have access to about $2,000 before making the jump. This course gave me a good roadmap to get to setting up a Shopify store. I need to do a lot more homework before taking the leap, but this course is a good starting point.

Personally, I’m not sure this course was worth the time. I couldn’t help but think this was a side project for the guy, meant to drive web traffic to his own site, and funnel students to his other courses. I took the class at 1.5 speed and still occasionally got bored and paused the videos to explore shopify myself. They did a good job of telling where to get more information - what to search, how to get help, etc, but I got frustrated with how often they said “there are more tutorials that can walk you through this stuff in depth.” So overall, the class was much more of a highlight of all the Shopify features rather than a deep dive into how to use them. Useful, but not as much as I had hoped. In the future, I’m also going to make sure classes were created within a year of the view time since this class seemed a little outdated on Shopify’s new features.

After deciding to migrate from Wordpress to Shopify I started looking for a "primer" video for rookies like me that wouldn't assume prior knowledge but at the same time wouldn't be light on info. This course delivers way above expectations. Jason is friendly and engaging and repeats at the end of just about every video his invitation to contact him with questions or suggestions - making it clear he's available for those who require further help. If you're just getting started on Shopify or even if you have some prior knowledge this course is going to be well worth your consideration.

Jason produced an excellent course that is based on his hands-on experience converting a site from Word Press to Shopify. I'm a Volusion user evaluating a migration to Shopify and I purchased this course as part of my research. If I had a question, it was easy to post a message and Jason responded readily. While I still have some further research to do with regard to Shopify apps and other features, the course answered most of my questions and I found it to be invaluable. Thanks Jason!

No wonder why this is considered the best-selling E-commerce Course on Udemy. I particularly like the step-by-step site building demonstrations and tips that are not found on Shopify itself. It's going to be my E-commerce Store Bible and I intend to learn it thoroughly so that I can launch my own stores and later maybe teach friends in need to learn "how to fish". Thank you, Jason.

Very helpful and thorough material on setting up a Shopify store. Jason is exceptional at de-mystifying and clarifying the Shopify store creation process. He keeps things simple while providing lots of detail. The course focuses on the actual construction of a Shopify store. It does not address product selection, traffic, etc. But the explanation of the details of creating a Shopify store and getting it up online is excellent and provides a good foundation for your ideas and needs.

An excellent course on introduction to shopify. Highly instructional and covers almost everything you need to setup a working store. I must say I am indeed lucky to have found this course and now have the necessary guidance to move my wordpress sites to shopify. Jason's style of delivery is refreshing and he is able to anticipate what are the questions that must be running through the minds of the participants and immediately addresses them. Awesome.

Hands Down the best course on starting and building a Shopify site! Jason Miles is an accomplished e-commerce guru that is able to translate his knowledge of Shopify into a step-by-step action plan for anyone who can listen watch and follow his complete steps. I highly recommend this class to anyone attempting to build their own Shopify store!

I haven't learned much yet. It's getting better mow. It's really an incomplete course. Half the time the host didn't know the subjects and had to go to find out how it worked. I am glad he is successful but is not a good teacher. Thank you anyway.

Probably one of the best "walktrough" courses about Shopify avaiable in Udemy. However one of my motivations for paying for the course was to speed up my learning curve, and I think the course doesnt accomplish this in a full way, since the speaker keeps mentioning further videos/tutorial that are not explained in the course I think i just got a good introduction but not anymore.
