Our take
Based on the ratings of 7,108 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in February 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
Kashish Gakkar's course is a broad Snowflake introduction built for people starting from zero. It runs 18.2 hours over 231 lectures and 34 sections. The first half covers architecture, pricing, resource monitors, micro-partitioning, caching and loading data from AWS and Azure. Then come time travel, streams, tasks, cloning, data sharing and security, followed by a long block of Snowflake SQL. The end adds Python automation, Tableau and PowerBI connections, and a small Python API project. A certification practice test is included as a bonus.
Reviewers like the clear, example-heavy explanations, and several say they went from knowing nothing to following the core ideas. One calls the teaching very impressive, though another admits his speaking style takes getting used to. The complaints are fairly consistent. Students want a real project that ties the sections together, and one found the labs ad hoc. The sharpest low-star reviews say the interface and syntax date from 2020, and one says the audio editing clips words. An early critic also found the advanced security topics thin, though the syllabus now has masking and row-level security sections.
The course was last updated in February 2026, so it is being maintained, but the screens may still not match what students see today. About 86 percent of the 7,108 ratings are four or five stars, which fits a solid course that is good rather than flawless. It suits beginners who want a structured walk through the whole platform and plenty of SQL practice. Anyone after a hands-on project or deep exam prep should add a second course.
Pros
- Covers the whole platform in one place: architecture, loading, streams, tasks, sharing, masking and SQL
- Reviewers say explanations are clear and use plenty of examples, even with no prior Snowflake knowledge
- Loading sections for both AWS and Azure, plus Snowpipe, give practical ingestion coverage
- Includes certification practice tests and was refreshed in February 2026
Cons
- No large project ties the sections together, which several reviewers ask for
- Some screens and syntax reflect the 2020 recording, so the interface can look different today
- One reviewer calls the labs ad hoc, and another says the audio editing cuts off words
I don't have any knowledge of Snowflake concepts, but after taking this course, I can easily grasp the core concepts. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn from scratch.
Fits true beginners to Snowflake. It lists no prerequisites, and the SQL block starts from the basics.

Snowflake is an in-demand cloud Data Warehouse. It solves most of the problems such as scalability, maintenance and downtime which we used to face with traditional data warehouses.
Using its Modern Architecture and Massive Parallel Processing (MPP) power, many complex problems can be solved within minutes. These days, Data Analysts/Data Scientists/Data Engineers are adopting Snowflake to avoid any maintenance and to pay what they use. Because of its elasticity, they spend less time finding insights from the data stored in Snowflake.
This course is specially designed for people who are looking forward to learn Snowflake. It does not matter if you are working as a Data Analyst/Data Scientists/Data Engineer/Programmer/BI Expert or as a Student, Data is everywhere so there is a need to process voluminous data to perform day-to-day tasks.
I have tried to include all aspects to perform operations on Snowflake such as:
1.) Snowflake Core concepts
2.) Snowflake Advanced Concepts:
- Time Travel
- Fail Safe
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Data Sharing
- Query History
- Resource Monitors
- Caching
- Micro-Partitioning
3.) Working with Snowflake APIs using Python
4.) Use Tableau with Snowflake for Visualizations
4.) Use PowerBI with Snowflake for Visualizations
6.) Snowflake SQL - Beginner to Expert Level
A lot of companies are adopting Snowflake as their Data Warehouse and migrating data from disparate sources to it. Because of Snowflake's architecture, companies are saving their costs as Snowflake separates storage and compute costs. Also, you have to pay for what you use on Snowflake. There is no overhead cost on top of it.
Along with this, companies get a lot of advantages with respect to setting up Snowflake.
- They just have to create Snowflake account
- No hardware setup is required
- No software is required to run snowflake
- No installation is needed
- Users does not need to bother about their infrastructure, Snowflake takes care of it perfectly by themselves.
- Snowflake provides default security on data such as encryption of data at rest and in transit.
And many more.
You will get downloadable one-stop-shop for all the resources used in this Masterclass
By end of this course, you will be able to work as an Snowflake Expert
I am sure you would enjoy learning Snowflake with me. :)
In case you don't then you can take benefit of 30 days money-back guarantee within first 30 days and i would be happy to refund your money.

quite few topics covered in detail like role, data sharing, partition but lot of time spend in SQL related topics which is not require for above beginners and also lot of coverage on Rest API, python. sample test also covered more questions these two topics may not be the case for real exam. did not find any questions on data sharing in sample test.

Although it is sometimes difficult to understand due to the pronunciation of the instructor, it is definitely a training full of content. Although not much is explained about Kafka, the missing part was that there were too many questions from Kafka in the sample exam in the last section. But I would definitely recommend this training to others.

The course content was really good and covers more topics than any other course currently present in Udemy. But generally, people will take this course not only for knowledge purpose but for Snow-pro snowflake certification also. I feel there is a lack in exam-prep approach in the courses. The lecturer also needs to be more engaging.

A very thorough course on Snowflake. I'm interested in learning and it is very intuitive. I love the course structure - it starts with topics unique to snowflake world then the topics that other sql users are familiar with which is useful and effective in learning faster.Absolutely, love it.

Awesome Course overall - the only reason I am giving a 4 star is because of below observations. a. The videos and PPT slides do not synch b. Microsoft Azure exercise in Video does not have matching Snowflake scripts and material in PDF ??? c. Data masking videos do not have SQL scripts for lab. Also PDF missing the slides – few other session missing synch with videos too

This is a great course. Covers everything from Basics of Snowflake to becoming a champion at it. It also covers some great knowledge on SQL. This is definitely recommended to anyone who wants to learn about Snowflake and using it along with AWS, Python, Tableau, PowerBI

love to have more graphics while learning about Niche Features. may be couple of sentence about Time Travel, fail safe, data sharing, data cloning, immute tables and bit on architecture. may be it will come later part of the course but introduction section must have this type of information to quickly hook learners.

I am an ETL developer who has a fair understanding of traditional data warehouse systems. This course is my first step towards the cloud data warehouse and I am thoroughly impressed by the depth and clarity of the course. The trainer has done an outstanding job to explain everything with examples. A sql and data warehouse beginner also can take this course as it explains basic DDL and DML statements as well. Thanks for this wonderful course.

Very Knowledgeable and very prompt in answering questions. Covered many topics in Snowflake. Could have put more practice questions/ tests. At times, the video paused - not sure if it's because poor internet connection on my end or Udemy's server issue. Overall, I enjoyed watching all lectures. Thank you Kashish!
