It's a great starting point for beginners, with clear explanations and plenty of practice exercises. However, intermediate learners might find it lacking in depth. Overall, a solid course to build a strong foundation in Python. overall nice course

Good for testing basic Python skills. Also useful if you are just brushing up on your Python skills. However, the course has an over-emphasis on the exercises for regular expressions (regex) compared to the other topics. Moreover, the proposed solutions to some of the regex exercises are "problematic" and incomplete meaning that beginners may encounter unexpected results if they apply them in real-life. The wording in some of the exercises is also slightly confusing and counter intuitive.

Terribly useful for me! Together with the Python complete Masterclass for Beginners, it's the perfect tool to get into the basics of Python. I really appreciate the opportunity to practice what I've learned in the exercises. Thank you, Mihai, for your good work!

clear explanations on exercises and good emphasises inside topics. Most of the exercise was challenging to solve and also inclusively useful to learn and aplly on real life. but one thing that I will recommend is, in correct solution step after each exercise, the correct result could be written on sub-screen and when the solver sees that it would be amazing to compare ral result and expected result on his/her mind.

Good exercises for beginners. I have been finished just one very detailed and complete Python course from Udemy and I solved this 250 exercises for 2-3 days. We should not forget that the repetition is the mother of knowledge. Suggestion for some future course: include explanation in exercise that is solved, for the people that do not understand and want to learn.

Python 3 Workout Review My rating: 4-stars The requirements state “people having intermediate Python knowledge at least.” The description states “This is a Python 3 practice course aimed at intermediate Python developers.” The course is focused on syntax and basic functions, which is beginner level material. I consider the section on Regular Expressions as beginner material because we are mindlessly following rules on symbol usage. Who should enroll in this course? You’ve never programmed before. You’ve either just completed your first Python course, or read a Python book/tutorial. This course would be a natural next step to take. Treat this course as a 250-question final exam. Use it to gauge your proficiency on Python syntax, basic functions, and the fundamentals of programming. If you can complete this ‘exam’ without too much difficulty, then you’re ready to move onto actual intermediate topics in Python and/or programming. Instructor responsiveness The instructor answered questions roughly within the promised time frame. He even reformatted his cheat sheet per my suggestion. :D

I am looking forward to solving the challenges in this course and developing greater proficiency in basic Python 3 scripting. I have now completed this course and consider it an invaluable resource for evaluating and improving my understanding of Python 3 programming fundamentals. I look forward to taking the other course offered by the instructor that features 250 multiple choice quizzes. I felt I learned a great deal from this series of exercises, not only in programming techniques but also in reading and understanding requirements. On some of the exercises where I couldn't get the right solution, it was due to my misunderstanding of the problem statement. It's very important to know how to code but it's equally important to know how to read and listen to the instructions, avoid making unjustified assumptions, and to double or triple check the results of the code against the problem statement. I would have gotten several more exercises correct on the first pass if I had better comprehension of the directions provided in the exercises. One of the very best features of the course is the Q & A section where students discuss any issues they had with the exercises. I appreciate the course instructor responding to my queries quickly and providing clarification on concepts that I had failed to grasp properly. There's a great deal to learn from one's own mistakes as well as those of others. This is a fantastic course to take for any beginning Python 3 programmer who has already completed one or more introductory courses authored by this instructor. Only by writing code that correctly solves a problem, over and over again, can beginners like myself hope to one day reach a professional level of competence and skill in the very popular Python 3 programming language. I really needed a course like this to practice the Python skills I got from Mihai's Python 3 Masterclass course. I'm planning to finish all 250 exercises by the end of the month, so wish me luck :) And thanks for this great course!
