Course Description

Hello everybody,

This course explains clearly the Procurement supply chain process: Sourcing, procurement and purchasing/buying. You will learn how to source, value, and analyze good products with ready templates used by a businessman.

This course will allow you to have the big picture of sourcing-buying-procurement proposing a rigorous methodology to find factories (by locating them) and by valuing them, thereby choosing a specific one for a special request based on a client analysis.

We will cover a maximum of examples with simulations, case studies, and real testimonies (fruit of operational 20 years of real experience). Therefore, you will have at the end a maximum of operational tools and templates to use for your professional life.

Concretely what will you learn?

1-How to source properly everywhere in the world

2-How to value a good factory/partner

3-How to avoid the mistakes when you source a product

4-How to save time, effort and money when you start sourcing

5-How to manage operational templates to start sourcing

NB: This course Sourcing Procurement Purchasing: practical methodology is a part (that you can just study independently), like one chapter of the big picture called "International Trade Import and Export" which includes 3 other courses of mine if you want to enlarge your horizon and your perspectives, but this one can be studied independently :

1-Prospection and negotiation

2-Sourcing and buying/purchasing

3-Production follow-up and quality assurance

4-Transportation and logistics

NB: In addition to that, as a kind of bonus and for free, I share with you my YouTube channel

Just type “Aurelien Millot Master Key(s)” you will find it. It is for opening your mind, discovering new perspectives of life in general for those who are on a certain quest for the meaning of life… Who knows! A word to the wise. :)

Best regards,

Aurelien Millot

Sometimes things already shown up come again. 0% guides how to involve tech into this ops, for example AI etc. But overall the teacher is very professional and knows what hes talking about, i just feel like the content should be updated. Thanks, merci.

To some extent, it will not be easy to follow and understand if one does not come from a manufacturing background. Sometimes, a section is too long because many layers of information are being explained at once. It would have been better to have sub-sections for each part. Unfortunately, the sound for the exhibition scenario was bad. Notwithstanding those facts, it’s a good course with practical nuggets to take away and apply in the area of sourcing.

I am so glad I picked this course. I will say that now I am loaded with knowledge on sourcing, purchasing, and procurement. It will help me settle in and learn faster in my new role as a procurement manager in my organization.

It is clearly explained, and understandable.. i am exciting with the teaching techniques. There are few explanation related on our manufacturing need of sourcing. This program is better for Garments unlike ours we are Manufacturing of Amusement ride.. Most of my materials came from Europe.

I like this course and the way the teacher explain. The content is very good, the accent is clear for me, and the way he moves (body language )shows that he is passionate about what he is teaching, that is good.

Nice beginning so far. I love sourcing, but needed to learn more about it, and what more to look for. Looking foward to the rest of the lectures.

This was an great course and I could corelate to the other business Sourcing methods. Appreciate the hard work and thanks for sharing your journey experience in the sourcing process. Amazing and looking forward to go with more courses. Thank you.

I feel that this course could be better, The lecturer has such a strong accent which is beyond anyone's control. However he could try to communicate more explicitly. i had most things muddled up even though he started off very strong but somehow i lost him mid-way. The video quality sucks as well. He should also pursue the possibility of analyzing other specifics/industries not just the textile industry. i could not relate because i work in oil and gas.. i only tried to link a few things like location and expertise determining where and how you source.

The content of this course it great! The teacher has real experience in the sourcing and production field. He gives concrete facts about the process of buying and he lays it out step by step. I am looking forward to the next course. Merci !

Due to the instructors practical hands on experience it had a lot more credibility and practical use. It gave insight into how to do business in the countries that the instructor does business, and what to expect. Apart from being a little long winded at times, the point was brought across properly and the steps were clear and understandable of the process that he was describing. The application of the steps are practical and clear. Overall I got out of the course what I needed to know and broadened my knowledge about doing business overseas.
