Course Description
Become an expert in statistical analysis with the most extended SPSS course at Udemy: 146 video lectures covering about 15 hours of video!
Within a very short time you will master all the essential skills of an SPSS data analyst, from the simplest operations with data to the advanced multivariate techniques like logistic regression, multidimensional scaling or principal component analysis.
The good news – you don't need any previous experience with SPSS. If you know the very basic statistical concepts, that will do.
And you don't need to be a mathematician or a statistician to take this course (neither am I). This course was especially conceived for people who are not professional mathematicians – all the statistical procedures are presented in a simple, straightforward manner, avoiding the technical jargon and the mathematical formulas as much as possible. The formulas are used only when it is absolutely necessary, and they are thoroughly explained.
Are you a student or a PhD candidate? An academic researcher looking to improve your statistical analysis skills? Are you dreaming to get a job in the statistical analysis field some day? Are you simply passionate about quantitative analysis? This course is for you, no doubt about it.
Very important: this is not just an SPSS tutorial. It does not only show you which menu to select or which button to click in order to run some procedure. This is a hands-on statistical analysis course in the proper sense of the word.
For each statistical procedure I provide the following pieces of information:
- a short, but comprehensive description (so you understand what that technique can do for you)
- how to perform the procedure in SPSS (live)
- how to interpret the main output, so you can check your hypotheses and find the answers you need for your research)
The course contains 56 guides, presenting 56 statistical procedures, from the simplest to the most advanced (many similar courses out there don't go far beyond the basics).
The first guides are absolutely free, so you can dive into the course right now, at no risk. And don't forget that you have 30 full days to evaluate it. If you are not happy, you get your money back.
So, what do you have to lose?

The course is very well-structured and easy to follow, with the lecturer explaining all procedures in a clear and simple way that makes even more complex concepts accessible. The course is also highly detailed, ensuring that each topic is thoroughly covered and easy to understand, which makes it a great choice for anyone looking to build a foundation in using SPSS for research.

There was not enough explanation about what the models are actually estimating. There is also not much for how to write SPSS syntax, even though it would be expected to be important to a career researcher or data analyst because having a script for reproducibility is important.

It is a course for people who has previous knowledge of statistics . It goes over all the tests and analysis, focusing on the use of SPSS. It is very efficient to provide the student with the knowledge of SPSS to start using it right away. It briefly explains statistics, offering more advanced researcher criteria. I would have liked it to go deeper on Factorial and Correspondance analysis, exploring all the options and a bit less on the tests, since I am a Marketing researcher and use these two analysis often. But it is a very efficient course and I totally recommend it.

Honestly, this is one of the best course I've done on Udemy so far. The instructor really takes his time to explain every step in the process. If you want to have a good grasp on the powerful package of SPSS, then I highly recommend to you this course.

DO NOT EXPECT ANY REPLIES FROM BIG BOGEY, MANS ON A DIFF PLANET. IT'S IGHT MOST OF THE WAY, BUT OBVS THERE ARE SOME DIFFICULT PARTS. - MY BOY.. THE SYNTAX IS PEAK, INSTEAD OF TEACHING HOW TO WRITE IT, HE GIVES COPY AND PASTED CODE, BUT THIS CODE ONLY WORKS FOR THE SPECIFIC EXAMPLE IN THE LECTURE..... THIS IS NOT HELPFUL!!!!!!!

The course is excellent, and i learned a lot, and the instructor paid much effort to collect much resources concerning data analysis specially spss, and i believe the coerces is good to university students as well as those who want to improve their capacity of data analysis.thank you Udmy and voluble instructor.

Excellent and comprehensive course for beginners and those who already possess some knowledge of SPSS but would like to learn more. What I found very valuable was that I not only learnt the technicalities of the programme but also how to interpret results. I also appreciated the gradual progression from the very basic to more complex procedures. All in all, great delivery and contents! Thank you very much.

After going through about 80% of the course i find it to be very useful as it gives a very comprehensive guide to using statistical test using SPSS and how different functions of SPSS can be used. The slides were very helpful as it had a step by step guide on how to carry out the different test. The steps to execute the analysis was every clear as the insturctor told us what to take note of. I now understand how to use SPSS to do statistical analysis better as he explains how the different tools and functions actually work. As for the analysis results, the explanation was very clear as the instructor told us how to read the output tables ,when to use the test, what to take note of in the output and which graphs will be hepful for which test but it would be good if he included the analysis results explanations in the slides for some of the lectures. Slides that has his explanation of the output results are very detailed espiecally the one with logistic regression

This course is perfect for those looking for practical examples of using SPSS for the most commonly used statistical techniques. The instructor maintains an even pace and keeps the audience engaged by blending statistical training with practical interpretation of the output. That said, for the absolute beginner in statistics, I recommend additional training in fundamentals before tackling intermediate/advanced topics such as multinomial and ordinal regression. One would be able to perform the analysis just fine while possibly struggling with some of the statistical concepts. The perfect audience for this course would be 1.) beginners not in a rush to quickly finish the course because there is a LOT of material, 2.) those with statistics background but wanting more SPSS training, or 3.) those with statistics background and wanting to run practice analyses with different software to compare to SPSS results. Highly recommended course for the price and value!
