This course is outstanding! It simplifies complex topics and strategies. The strategies seem to be very practical and effective. He clearly lays out the steps in each approach. He shows how to minimize risk when buying or selling stocks or options. He doesn't give you a lot of fluff. He doesn't waste your time. He's to the point. Plus, he's not trying to sell you a bunch of more stuff, while you're taking this course. I'd just finished courses on Options. I think it's helpful to have a good understanding of Options before taking this course. He answered several questions about Trading that solve a lot of problems for me. I didn't know these answers would be in this course. I'm very pleasantly surprised. This is definitely one of the best courses I've ever taken. I highly recommend it. B. Callaway

Good course that discussed married puts and collar trades. The instructor does an excellent job describing the strategies and provides examples for each. He also provides examples of what to do if the trade goes against you. These are simple to understand techniques and can be used by beginners. Excellent course, highly recommend.

The instructor shows very good strategies such as married put, protective put, collar option etc. however, he leaves certain important calculations out as there is something hidden and you need to pay extra for the final step. When I did the calculations that he left out the strategy is not as profitable as he presents it. Therefore, I give him 3.5 stars for his knowledge and initiating the strategies. If he honestly completed the entire calculating steps I would’ve given him 5 stars even if the strategy wasn’t profitable.

Good material, but, if you don't already have a pretty good idea about stock and options trading you'll need to do some research either before or during this class. The usage theory of a number of different concepts is discussed without the concepts being clearly defined or understood. Be prepared to do some research.

The I loved the tools provided and easy explanations to use them... Simple ways to identify trading opportunities! This course is excellent for someone with basic knowledge of trading fundamentals. I will be taking more of his courses... I highly recommend to anyone who's been watching and learning through complex long videos; this takes you back to basics with simple strategies to start trading...

Course has good content but would be better if the instructor moved along a little slower. Simple and complex discussions were handled at the same pace. Some examples of put and call contracts would have been nice. Each lesson begins and ends with the same simple fadein/fadeout tune. The speech during the lessons is not very loud but the music/tune is so loud it'd blow your eardrum. Very unnecessary and very very unpleasant especially if listened to with headphones. Please please please turn the volume down...!

A totally unique way of buying stocks or deep in the money options (for greater value) and simultaneously buying protection, so no matter which way the stock goes you're almost certainly guaranteed to win. I wouldn't have thought of this strategy in a million years and haven't come across anyone who has taught this as clearly and concisely as Jeff. I have taken four of Jeff's course and each course provides a different way of trading options/stocks, to guarantee consistent winners. You can't go wrong with Jeff's weekly alerts, they're a great way to learn and profit at the same time.

I truly believe that for the first time I've found a course on trading that was to the point with no missing pieces. The course is laid out in a way so easy to understand that I will teach my kids how to trade the markets using what I learned here. And that goes for all 4 of Jeff's courses, so you will see this review cut & pasted 3 more times :).

Great course, very succinct. the material is well explained and straight forward. It would have been nice if more examples were given. The expectation set by the course seemed very if overly optimistic and the instructor emphasized de-risking. Whether the expectations translate to achievements is to be determined. I definitely feel I have a greater understanding of trading having done the course.

If you plan to take any Jeff Tompkins course and are new to stock trading, take this one first. Even if you have a background in Forex or something else. The reason is that this course is a gently introduction to both Jeff's methods AND Options, which is used in this course. The course is not 5 stars because it lacks a few things. It has no money management. As he says in a comment, he's pretty cavalier about his ability to turn around losing positions so I guess that lessens his need to practice money management. The course also leaves some things to common sense or additional info that is available for free elsewhere such as brokerage accounts etc. There is also no clear explanation of when to stop protecting profits. For this you will need to learn more technical analysis or let the market determine when to stop. The course is not 3 stars because he gives pretty clear steps. You avoid "analysis paralysis" and are guaranteed to be able to get out of bad trades if all hell breaks loose and you act before expiration. I highly recommend this course.
