Prof. Dr. Gordana Kierans

I am Prof. Dr. Gordana Kierans - consultant, author and TEDx Speaker. I have 19 years of business experience at the interface between leading Business Schools and companies. During my career, I have worked with entrepreneurs, SMEs, multinationals, governments and NGOs, in Germany and world-wide. I have also worked with top academics in the area of the circular economy which inspired me to create this very practical hands-on programme to open the eyes for numerous opportunities in this field.
Originally, I was born and raised in Croatia but I lived for 25 years in other European countries (Italy, Germany, Belgium). This resulted in my knowledge of six languages. I completed all my studies in Germany, including my Doctorate. In addition, I am also an Alumna of the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. My commitment to a more connected world was recognised and I was invited to deliver a TEDxTALK in the Netherlands.
Today, I am a Partner at MGT OPEN, a consultancy that focuses on Circular Economy, Communication and Leadership, as these three elements are important for the circular transition to succeed in a company. Our corporate clients are based in the European Union, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. I am also a Professor at the Shenzhen Technology University in Shenzhen, China where I teach Systems Thinking and Circular Economy.

Amazing content so far

By Emily Seow on 11/8/2020

Interesting topics but it is a bit monotomous and could be more engaging if we could see the speaker instead of just pictures.

By Ryan K Wirayadi on 10/27/2020

Give a great insight and a good starting point to how to begin and where opportunities may lie in regards to a circular economy.

By Gourav Tyagi on 10/25/2020

The course is so informative and the concepts are equally divided into small mini courses which is good.

By Tony R Versaci on 10/24/2020

Good content but hard to stay engaged with just pictures and voiceovers.

By Sinem Demir on 10/19/2020

the pace of the lecture and the analogy between the concept and real world was provided very well.

By Ribka P Tanzil on 10/17/2020

There is a typo in the course material "where are the opportunities" became "were are...". The graphic also seems outdated and can be improved to match the content/sound
