Course Description

into the world of showbiz and learn how to take full control of your voice and the way you deliver words. The Voicemaster Voiceover course not only gives you the opportunity to record voiceovers professionally, but it will improve your presentation skills too!
This coursehas been created by Steve Hudson, leading international voice over and communication trainer. It teaches you how to use your voice as a musical instrument, giving you full control over volume, pace, pitch and script interpretation. The basis for all voiceovers!
The course is on video and scripts will be provided for you to print. The course will take about 2 weeks total (20 minutes a day), depending on your input.
Before you start the course, we ask you to record your 'Before' recordings and keep them to one side. This is to establish your starting point.
You then go through each lesson, guided by Steve. Practice until you're confident and then move on to the next one.
As you go through the course, you need to record yourself so you can listen back and correct anything that's not quite right.
Once you practised all lessons, you need to record the same scripts you recorded before you started the course. These are your 'After' recordings.
Now you will hear how much you have improved.
If you have followed the instructions and practised, you will be able to record voiceovers professionally, but of course, you will need to record a demo CD. If you need any help with this, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
Other benefits of this course:
You will have greater confidence when giving presentations at school or work and job interviews.
Study time will be reduced because this course enables you to retain more information -quicker.
Reduce your accent if applicable.
Who this course is for:
This course has been created for aspiring voice over artists. It is also a good refresher for those who are already in the business.

Instructor Details

Steve Hudson

I founded Voicemaster International in London 1995 and we are now based in Leicestershire. I have been a voiceover trainer for over 20 years and have been a voiceover and television presenter for more than 30 years. During this time I have won a number of awards for production and performance.
I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to be a voiceover artist; they just need to be trained in a voiceover technique. People do not become good actors, golfers or surgeons without learning a professional technique. That's why the Hudson Voice Technique is so important to anyone who would like to sound more confident and persuasive.

Reprint from the TV Times

If TV commercials were to have a cast list at the end, Steve Hudsons name would be known to millions. Instead, the man who poses the question Who knows the secret of the Black Magic Box? is a bit of a mystery man himself. A familiar face behind a well known brand name identity. He was the on-camera spokesman for Gallo Wine.
Youve heard him as Superman when he chased the evil Nick-o-tine across your screens in the famous million dollar anti-smoking campaign and in the Old Spice adverts he tells you its The Mark of a Man. His voice advertises many other products including Martini, Ford, Shell, Guinness and milk on Swiss television! He has recently narrated the video games 'Nero' and 'Warhammer Q

Absolutey a great match. I am starting to record Edcucational and Marketing videos for my startup and this course is exactly what I needed.

I work as a content writer at an IT company, and I've been tasked with the responsibility to write interactive course modules for this company. The company realised that the course modules also needed to be narrated, and realising that I have a fairly pleasant voice, they asked me to narrate and record voiceovers for the course modules. And so I'm studying this course in the evenings while I put the course's lessons to practical use each day in my day job as I record voiceover narrations. This course is helping me begin to sound like a professional voiceover narrator.

It's a great course. After completing this course, I did intro and outro for my Dolphin And Whale Messages podcast. I feel comfortable doing voice overs for my other projects.

A very informative course with good practice scripts for you to record and listen back to see your improvement.
I would recommend this course for all interested in Voiceover Work

Great course! Awesome value. Very clear and helpful instructions

By Geoff McIntyre on 9/6/2020

I learned a lot, feel good abut moving on to more courses. The videos in this class need some work, there are pieces missing and other areas where it stops and won't continue.

I paid 29.99 for this course and seeing that it was a Bestseller, I decided to go for it. In the preview, Steve Hayes states that one will be introduced to two of the best online casting agents which did not happen. Also I have since found out after doing my own research that one requires a voice reel to get into voice over work as well as experience in either performing on stage or in front of a camera which unless you have been to drama school is not possible to gain. Do not waste your money.

Easy to follow and learn. I like all the practice advised and love the work booklet!

By Elizabeth Borden on 8/25/2020

This course is wonderful. Lots of exercises to make sure that you understand the course content, An extremely knowledgeable instructor. The best class on this subject that Y have come across - by far.

By Biswajit Banerjee on 8/24/2020

An absolutely brilliant course! It is to the point and devoid of fluff. The exercises are meaningful. It is more about learning to read a script and emoting it rather than deepening one's voice, and that's something I really liked about the course. I recommend it to all who would like to do voice-overs, amateurs and professionals alike, especially the ones who would like to do audio books.

By Darryl Webb on 8/18/2020

The elements covered in the course are extremely relevant and practical. In a short space of time I have already seen marked improvements in my narration. I like that the course requires the student to really practice; its a great way to see these improvements taking shape.

As someone who has some experience in VO work, there wasn't much that was new to me. However, it was a good reminder of some basic reading styles and the need to recognise what kind of voice/read is needed in different situations.
