It was indeed a good match for me. I always struggled with long sentences, which left me breathless - breaking it into small sentences with mental commas helped me nail it. Also I was emphasizing the wrong words - identifying the red flag words is helping me fix that as well. I'm working on voice control now. This course has been a great starter. Thank you.

Personally I am a visual learner and I'm very big on asking questions while learning. As long as my questions are answered and the response is explained then this course will work out really well for me. So far, I really enjoy the variety of scripts provided and the notes given to be printed. They really are great resources to always have!

I work as a content writer at an IT company, and I've been tasked with the responsibility to write interactive course modules for this company. The company realised that the course modules also needed to be narrated, and realising that I have a fairly pleasant voice, they asked me to narrate and record voiceovers for the course modules. And so I'm studying this course in the evenings while I put the course's lessons to practical use each day in my day job as I record voiceover narrations. This course is helping me begin to sound like a professional voiceover narrator.

It's a great course. After completing this course, I did intro and outro for my Dolphin And Whale Messages podcast. I feel comfortable doing voice overs for my other projects.

The course is mediocre and in grave need of a complete overhaul. The lessons are dated, and Steve Hudson's reading on the course is almost completely out of sync with contemporary voice over styles. Additionally, there are several highly noticeable technical glitches throughout the course. This sub-par course is clearly designed as a lead-in so that Hudson can up-sell prospective students far more expensive further courses. He claims to be offering a technique or set of rules for voice over. But based on this sub-par and outdated offering, I doubt that any of his "rules" would have any relevance or be of any practical use in contemporary voice over. Save your money people, and look for a better course.

I learned a lot, feel good abut moving on to more courses. The videos in this class need some work, there are pieces missing and other areas where it stops and won't continue.

I paid 29.99 for this course and seeing that it was a Bestseller, I decided to go for it. In the preview, Steve Hayes states that one will be introduced to two of the best online casting agents which did not happen. Also I have since found out after doing my own research that one requires a voice reel to get into voice over work as well as experience in either performing on stage or in front of a camera which unless you have been to drama school is not possible to gain. Do not waste your money.

Easy to follow and learn. I like all the practice advised and love the work booklet!
