First, the positives. The trainer is good at calling out the differences between 4G and 5G. This is helpful if you already have a background in 4G, which is a requirement of this course according to the overview, which I agree is necessary. He also provides a fairly good introduction, often references relevant parts of the specification, and sometimes provides valuable additional context building upon the slides. On the flip side, the presentation is generally a little clumsy, poorly edited, and does not always explain concepts in a helpful manner. It often feels quite scripted, as if the 5G specification or the slides are just being read out loud. The training would benefit from providing more of an overview before diving in to the details. The sections could be organised better, using relevant names rather than just "Part X", so that you can more easily reference back to a particular part of the course. One of the videos includes a 20 gap second gap of silence and white screen, various others have background noise, and "Beam Management Part 5" is actually "Retransmission Protocols Part 1". I watched sections 1, 2, 3, half of 4, then jumped ahead and watched section 7 (covering 13/45 sections in total), but think I will stop here.

Author has shared lot of minute details. Many items got cleared by repeated listening of topic. Thanks for excellent presentation. Expect new trainings from NR.

Nice try but instructor was just reading from the book. He seems to be stuck at most of the places and showed that he doesn't have any idea what he was speaking or what he want to speak further. Most of the time referring to some direct words from common books or using content from other websites like sharetechnote.com. Content was also not managed properly in the topics. Beam Management part 5 is actually retransmission protocol part 1 so there's nothing like beam management part 5. After Downlink HARQ, RLC is the next topic and then again coming back to Uplink HARQ. There are many such instances overall. Also, it would have been better if the instructor could give a certain name to the session rather than part 1, 2 3 etc. So, I won't recommend this course to people who are already in this field or using 5G NR, but it may be good to someone who's just starting getting into 5G NR or want to have some very basic knowledge.

Such a detail on 5G NR. This is really what I needed. I have 7 years experience in 5g and LTE but this course has provided me with many things that I still don't know.
