For the longest time I've had a severe case of procrastination and lack of sustained focus in anything and it seemed like motivation to complete a task ran out as fast as I gained it. Nevertheless I have made some significant strides in my studies but I've not been able to get to the next level. This course has given me a template to build on and a roadmap towards achieving my goals. Much appreciated, I truly gained some valuable gems from your course.

Today, I have Completed this course with the positive energy. Now I was Able to do some changes in my Skilling or studying Plans. this Course is really helpful to me. For Educational purpose I learn lot of strategies from here, I'm sure i I'll use that all in my way.

A whole section talks on memory storage of the mind and that 90% plus is remembered because of practical and verbal stimulus. There is zero practical application in this course. Just hintful of information then it wants you to by the book at the end of it calling it a bonus course...hoping at least could use something from this course purchased.

too much theory that it's hard to understand the main point of the topic most of the time, the course lacks abstraction for so much not really useful information for someone buying a course to get help on how to study, topics are not simplified except Section 5 and it's not fully simplified still.

A very well researched content delivered here. The trainer spoke at a good and clear pace with just enough content on the slides. However I can't help but to feel like this is more of a productivity course than a how to learn course. I suppose the focus areas are being productive during your learning journey.

Short course but packed with a lot of useful information. I did learn something unexpected from it, but it's relevant to IT pros and anyone who wants to pursue IT fields. Clear instruction, engaging instructor, easy to understand, and videos are kept brief to maintain maximum attention. He also presented familiar material repackaged in a way different than what I learned elsewhere. Presentation is a good balance of simple and complex.

My expectations were low having been disappointed by other "how to learn" courses. Really wanted practical "meat" on learning how to become a better programmer. WOW this course has blown me away. If you're looking for specific guidance for IT learning especially where hands-on practice is essential – this is it. I'd recommend checking with some of the other references if you're needing more info on topics such as flash card use, spaced repetition, mindset, flow, and memorization techniques. Me: An MIT-trained Chemical Engineer turned computer programmer (30+ years) mostly Microsoft technologies. For a while I was also a Microsoft Certified Trainer in .NET. Despite my background until recently I didn't know how to study effectively – it's still a work in progress. Most of my programming training was from passive reading and video watching – frequently many hours at a time. I was usually so busy with my job at the time (sometimes 70-80 hour weeks), I didn't take time to upgrade my skills. I've been retired a few years (long story) and thinking about getting back to part-time work. I've gone thru material from a number of other learning gurus – many of the one's that you've quoted in the course, but no one else I've seen has addressed the hands-on as you have with the spreadsheet – which I'll be implementing for my training as soon as I complete this review.
