Wow. This is chalk-full of information. I wish I had known this information when I was in school. Regardless, a lot of this is very applicable to adult life. I'm impressed with the explanations--concepts clicked for me. While I noticed issues I had, I never knew WHY, and it's great to understand why so I can invest in the solutions. Highly recommend!

This course gave me a whole new outlook on my life with ADHD. Lessons were easy to follow and so engaging! I'm currently an illustration student, and I am having trouble with procrastination even while doing the work I love. I think what I've learned here is going to help me understand how to work best with myself and get through school!

Very useful stuff to put into practise. I note that there are a few things that others students have mentioned such as section repeating itself (what should be there instead? what has been missed out?) and the black screen for 2/3 minutes remains, so its clear nothing has been done to address these but all in all, good hints, tricks and tips I can take on board to help me study for my long term goal of working in mental health - so much to learn! I will have to come back to this again and again though.

Thank you so much for this course and your instruction is amazing. I suffer from adult ADD. Some days worse than others. I feel like a train wreck some days when trying to study, I feel tired trying to read and my mind goes in some many directions. This course has empowered me, gave me hope and strong direction that already is helping to restore that solid method of study. I'll be going through this course again and again.

Two of the videos abruptly ends and one is a copy of another one. The advices themselves are more general tips, I was expecting something more indept. Two videos near the end had some good advice but all in all it wasnt for me.

By Christina Pretty on 5/21/2020

I learned at least 1 new thing to use in my daily life in each segment. Such basic nessecities that I didn't think about, that I know will help as soon as I impliment them. The 2 quick tips modules seemed like the same video just added twice, with the second to last video having a blank black screen the last 3 minutes.

I watched this with my 14 year old daughter, who's just starting high school. There are multiple techniques and strategies she will start using right away that I believe will help her tremendously! We both have ADHD, and this literally described my life. I wish I had known about all this when I was going through school an had to work ten times harder than others to be successful. The amount of stress I endured was unnecessary with proper help, like this course.

By Ashraf Islam on 8/30/2019

Instructor had a very fun, warm, friendly vibe. That was a bit off-putting because I was going in expecting something much more serious and technical. She explained things in layman's term which is nice, but could have used more in-depth explanations on the biochemistry of dopamine/cortisol. I didn't like how she kept mentioning how her grades improved using her example alone---I feel she should have backed it up with more evidence. Her mentioning of the S.T.R.E.S.S pseudonym to fight procrastination and endorsement of the mind map techniques as well as the accomodations made a lot of sense and seemed effective. She stuck to the topic and facilitated comfort among people with ADHD by praising the good qualities ADHD people have. Overall, I found this course worthwhile and would recommend it's solid, concise advise to people looking to study more effectively.

Absolutely loved watching and taking notes on so many things from this course. I wish I found this before I went to undergrad, started my masters or professional school. I really struggled back then and know now I can feel confident with the knowledge to do better. I'm excited for my journey ahead with the tools I learned! Big thank you to the author for this course!

By Sharia Battle on 2/3/2019

This course really hit home with me; the examples given about ADD behaviors and our thought patterns were spot on. It felt good to have some validation about my experience coupled with some brain facts. The comparisons to those with non-ADD brains offered the context I needed to connect the dots; I could accept that I may need to do some things differently to accomplish my goals.
