We use SQL Server Express as a Data storage destination for Rockwell OBDC databases which also connects to XL Reporter for Data Collection and I have little experience with the software. It was cool to see that SQL can organize and arrange SQL data and I can see how others might find it useful. The explanations were great and the opportunity for hands on were built in. But for my case our use is hands off and just runs in the background of our other software. We currently use Express2008 but I see it is being updated. I would have liked to see more informations on the limitations of the software and key differences or updates between the new and older versions.

Instructor Bio
After graduating university I started work in desktop database application development, working with dBase III, Paradox and FoxPro. Later I added spreadsheet development to my repertoire with Lotus 123 and Quattro Pro.
I have been programming Microsoft Excel, Access and other Office applications since 1997, when I landed my first job requiring use of Excel, which I did not know at the time. But I quickly learned the UI and then began to study and master VBA, the programming language that drives all Microsoft Office applications. My specialty is in workflow automation, data processing and analysis. I usually work in Excel but have made many hybrid applications involving Excel, Word, Access and Outlook in varying combinations.
Currently on track to enhance my skills with several courses here at Udemy in C#, Python 3, BI, SSIS, AWS et. al. Although VBA shall always be my strong suit (24 years and still going, LOL) I want to increase and expand my programming capabilities to stay relevant in today's highly competitive and dynamic technology market.
