Thanks for breaking down AWS S3 throughout this course. The videos were easy to follow and I love the fact that you provided options for using a windows machine but most importantly for offering the Mac alternative. I get why using Windows makes sense for these types of setups but as engineers and developers having the option to choose is greatly appreciated. Thanks for providing engaging content. It was easy to absorb, and you assumed nothing when presenting this to us. Which made the course super duper fun. Looking forward to taking some of your other courses. Cheers and great work!!!

Lessons area great, just obsolete on consoles as this was recorded in 2020. Amazon made a lot of changes at this time. Most of the steps are now shortened, and some of the steps that are supposed to be completed in this video are now standard, pre-selected in the latest AWS console, including terminologies but still pretty easy to navigate and compare the old version to the latest one. Instructor a bit too fast for me (speech), personally, but overall great class.

It was an excellent, foundations course which provided me with much needed information regarding all aspects of Amazon S3. While I was able to successfully create my Amazon AWS account, I didn't fully understand how to best utilize the service. Amazon provides tutorials, but I needed a class that would provide me with the introductory level of information in a manner that worked best for me. Thankfully, I found this course and, after completing it, I'm much more confident in my ability to incorporate the use of Amazon S3 in my newly launched business. Last but not least, the instructor was absolutely EXCELLENT!

Extremely granular and helpful to anyone that has just started using S3 in any capacity. I really enjoyed the tips and tricks that were sprinkled in this course, some of them are a little out of date, which would require meticulous babysitting to resolve. After taking it though, it is clear that if you want to learn S3 down to a science, and probably whatever else Steve Dougherty teaches (which I am going to have to take a look at,) Steve does it with excellent speed and know-how to give you the information and just enough to teach you something, but nothing boring enough to put you to sleep. If you need to manage S3 in any capacity or want to learn about some of the cooler capabilities of S3, this is a course you need to take. Thanks Steve, stay safe.

AND TO MY SURPRISE SAME PERSON IS INSTRUCTOR FOR 'Docker Technologies for DevOps and Developers' COURSE. BUT THE INSTRUCTOR NAMES ARE STATED AS TAO. W, JAMES LEE FOR THAT COURSE,I DONT UNDESTAND WHY OTHER NAMES ARE GIVEN AS AUTHORS OF THAT COURSE, I WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY BY PURCHASING BOTH COURSES, I DO NOT TAKE THESE COURSES EVEN FOR FREE IN YOUTUBE. THESE S3 CONCEPTS ARE PRESENTED IN EXCELLENT WAY IN RYAN KROONENBURG AWS CERTIFIED SOLUTION ARCHITECT VIDEO WHICH IS AT SAME PRICE.

After digging around online, looking for information about the basic "how to's" in Amazon S3, I turned to Udemy to see if there were any courses on it. Based upon my previous experiences with Udemy, I don't know why I didn't just start here in the first place. :) I found this course, signed up and tore through it in just a couple of days. I now have all the basic information I needed to get myself started, and then some. I feel very confident in digging deeper into Amazon S3 and using it to host the data for a client's system that I'm designing. Steve was a very knowledgeable and engaging instructor. His pace was great, and he made learning the material fun. I can't recommend this course highly enough, and plan to look into other courses Steve offers on Udemy. Thanks, Steve!

Very technical, but I'm able to follow after listening to each lecture more than once. Instructor is speaking clearly, which I like, and shows good examples. This Lecturer responds quickly to any questions you have. If you don't understand his answer he will try to explain it another way. He will stick with you until you are able to understand the issue you were having a problem with. I asked so many questions I feel like he's my best friend. I will be honored to take any other classes he offers. Thanks Steve

Steve is among the finest instructors one can hope to have online. He obviously has passion for what he does, has integrity about what he is teaching and is available to students who have questions. He is very knowledgeable about the subject matter. I've had to review some of the course more than once as a non-tecchie, but Steve's humor and approach prompted me to get his other course on membership sites before completing this one. This is a course I am happy to revisit more than once and a good investment.

This course is a breath of fresh air...one of those rare instances where the instructor REALLY knows his way around the subject matter AND is able to explain technical issues so that anyone can follow along. If you've ever taken a class on s3 and felt none the wiser for it, because it's all code-talk explained with more code-talk, then this is the class for you. It won't leave you stranded! I, for one, will jump at the chance if this instructor does more AWS classes :)

Before I discovered this course, I found trying to learn Amazon's S3 service on my own was at best confusing and at worst overwhelming. The standard documentation references so much unfamiliar terminology and refers to so many unfamiliar services and options that I didn't know where to start. Making matters worse was the complexity of the user interface and the many security features. Then I found this wonderful Udemy course, which explains the S3 service and how to use it in short, clear, and useful lectures. It is the perfect introduction to S3. Sufficient time is dedicated to exploring the S3 and IAM user interfaces while explaining Amazon's terminology so that I now feel comfortable with these. The course also provides guidelines for making your S3 objects and URLs appropriately accessible and secure. There are even 2 lectures that explain in great detail how to set up video streams that will work on all major browsers. Additional time is spent covering three third-party tools that can facilitate S3 set up and management. As good as the course material is, the instructor is even better. He explains things clearly and concisely, showing step-by-step, what you need to do to set up an AWS account, create S3 buckets, users, groups, and policies, and manage the files and folders placed on your S3 server. And he personally answers all questions. I posted a question and received a comprehensive reply, including a personalized video explaining the answer, within a couple of hours! If that is not dedication to your students, I don't know what is! I highly recommend this course to anyone struggling with Amazon S3. It is not a programming course, so no time is spent on Amazon's SDK or HTTP requests. But for a general understanding of S3, this course is tops!
