Course Description
Join my comprehensive course on Natural Language Processing (NLP). The course is designed for both beginners and seasoned professionals. This course is your gateway to unlocking the immense potential of NLP and Generative AI in solving real-world challenges. It covers a wide range of different topics and brings you up to speed on implementing NLP solutions.
Course Highlights:
NLP-Introduction
Gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles that govern Natural Language Processing and its applications.
Basics of NLP
Word Embeddings
Transformers
Apply Huggingface for Pre-Trained Networks
Learn about Huggingface models and how to apply them to your needs
Model Fine-Tuning
Sometimes pre-trained networks are not sufficient, so you need to fine-tune an existing model on your specific task and / or dataset. In this section you will learn how.
Vector Databases
Vector Databases make it simple to query information from texts. You will learn how they work and how to implement vector databases.
Tokenization
Implement Vector DB with ChromaDB
Multimodal Vector DB
OpenAI API
OpenAI with ChatGPT provides a very powerful tool for NLP. You will learn how to make use of it via Python and integrating it in your workflow.

The explanations are very clear and easy to understand. Before taking this course, i did not grasp properly the difference between RAG, Finetuning and Prompt Engineering.

This course on Applied Generative AI and Natural Language Processing was an eye-opener for me. The instructors did an excellent job of breaking down complex topics like Prompt Engineering and Huggingface-Models into digestible chunks.
By Merinos Hue on 6/3/2024
The instructors provide a thorough overview of the field, covering all the essential topics and equipping learners with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

This course covers all aspects of Generative AI, starting with the foundational concepts of NLP. The content, explanations and example code were all concise and precisely what was needed to grasp the concepts. Bert Gollnick did an amazing job structuring the course to maintain engagement from start to finish. His teaching style was clear and kept me hooked throughout the course. Highly recommended!!

I really enjoyed this course. I was very new to LLM when I started this course, but I could completely understand the lectures because Bert explained the complicated subjects in very simple expressions. I'll try his other courses soon.

This is one of the best course I have ever taken on Udmey. Bert is an amazing teacher! He built the theory and ideas from ground up which was easy to understand. His walkthrough of the code was super helpful for someone like me who is not proficient with programing but the way Bert taught I was able to follow along. I am purchasing his other course on PyTorch. My only request to Bert is to make more courses on AI/ML and Data Science so we all can learn a nd benefit.

Some voids, I would also like to have the glossary joins while seeing the code. For example, when talking about tensors, relate the code with what was seen in the simple explication before, or dig deeper in to contextual information to understand better what we are doing. another example: -"Here we add a Cost/Weight of 1 ....." But.. how is that used, how it changes the behaviour if we modify it, why would we want to change it, things like that.
By S K Avaneesh on 4/29/2024
Could have explained the deeper concepts for example like how the Embedding itself works internally like how the syntactic/semantic relationship is established and so on
By J khan on 3/15/2024
In-depth exploration of advanced topics such as looms and vector databases challenged me to think differently and pushed me to expand my skill set.
