A little disappointed that the course seemed to be little more than showing the menu options with little to no real application examples. Any examples were too vague and not based in real life. The course description stated "with labs" but there was no lab content provided.

Fortunate timing for possible consulting contract. Unfortunate timing for local machine(s) being unable to use vmware. Bonus that Aruba has a network scan which will be tested shortly when licenses and current demo software available.+

I think in the beginning of the course a lot of emphasis is put on rating the course properly. But doesn't hold himself to the same standard. For example, the questions/answers are never replied too? I always mark a star down for that, someone has paid for your course to learn you can't be bothered to answer a question? Secondly, there is a lot of describing of items, not explaining:"You can do this...", that is describing not explaining. The most important part how do devices connect to Clearpass no section at all, that is one star removed, that the whole point of Clearpass is AAA with policies.

Good informative course after all. We already have a ClearPass environment so it was easier for me to compare with the current configuration. But I would say for someone trying to learn from scratch it was a bit lacking explanations on the bigger picture and how things are related to one another. Sometimes it felt like we're just jumping from one window to another but without explaining why and what is connected to what.

Pros: This course has a greate demonstration on ClearPass system Cons: The course is missing a very important element which is real life scenarios examples If one or two real life scenarios are included in this course, that will make this course very helpful to make students confident enough to start working on ClearPass

not all of the instructors will go into enough detail and out of all of the interfaces, so i have learned something day one/ on the halfway mark and this is a great instructor he clicks ALL the buttons so you really dont even need to set up your lab and makes sure you know what every button or toggle will do

Labs were very detailed and the order was great. It takes you from the vm install upto the last lab of Clearpass. Focusing on real world experience was fruitful for me

I am new to Aruba and I learnt a lot from this course. Overall happy with the purchase. My suggestion for updating or future courses would be to add a couple more videos that explains the structure or the goal. For example, i think explaining the end goal and then going over the steps would have been helpful for me. My goal for buying this was to figure out how to do wired nac with vlan allocation. Thank you!!
