I have had my SAA since 2016 and had to re-certify this year, for the first time with the SAA-C03 exam. I intended to use this course as pre-exam cram revision, but in this context I don't feel like it really prepared me for the new exam - I passed, but not by much, and if I didnt have years of experience with AWS already I probably would have failed. Compared to previous versions of the exam I found the new one requires a much more in-depth knowledge of a broader range of AWS services, and had more questions on obscure services like Neptune and their features, where in the past the focus has been on core services like EC2 and S3. In short, the course provides a decent overview of AWS services and some of their key features, but passing the exam requires you to really understand how they work (or don't work), and be able to identify features or functionality which doesn't actually exist - and I don't think the course covers this sort of thing in enough detaill

What happened midway through the course? In Chapter 70 your pronounciation and words containing the letter 's' couldn't be understood at all. Had to reduce speed from 1.75x to 1.25x and then repeat video multiple times. Chapter 74 is misplaced under Section 14. Should have been part of Section 13 instead.

Jon Bonso is a legend! This is the second course of his I've taken (not including the additional practice tests) and I successfully passed the SAA-CO3 with flying colors. I'm now taking the SysOps course and I know using Jon's courses I will succeed. These courses are short and concise but they are not lacking detail. Buy these courses if you want to get AWS certified and upgrade your life!

I have finished this course and when taking the test simulation, I can only score 66 out of the minimal 72 to pass the "real AWS test". Jon is ok in explaining the AWS product stuff but the hands-on at the AWS console website or AWS CLI is very little. Hence there are some "Features" that I have to intelligently guess to answer the 65 simulation tests. Some things in the test did not being explained in the course (like AWS wavelength for example) and seeing the SAA-CO3 outline from AWS, there so much stuff not covered in this course (AWS machine learning stuff (polly, kendra, lex, sage maker, texract, transcribe, translate etc), AWS pinpoint, device farm, X-ray, amplify, elastic transcoder, wavelength, so many outlined in the SAA-CO3 still not covered here). Jon, please see the new SAA-CO3 "material" from: https://d1.awsstatic.com/training-and-certification/docs-sa-assoc/AWS-Certified-Solutions-Architect-Associate_Exam-Guide_C03.pdf I hope Jon update and add those new stuff as it is already stated in SAA-CO3 from the amazon website and you won't get those stuff in this course. I worry the test simulation also still referencing the SAA-CO2, not CO3 as in the course title. Will change the rating if the course material is updated to fully reflect the new SAA-CO3.

Excellent visual course to keep a learner engaged, one downside I found in this course is just a few key topics were missing , example : regional edge location, cache control header in cloud front even though there is a question in quiz on it. An exam cram video in each section will also help who wants to have a last minute review before the exam.

This course explains all the concepts beautifully. It is concise and clear and to the point. There are very minimal hands-on, however all the points for a particular service and its integration with other services are very nicely laid out and all the way up the exam tips. The last chapter in exam tips sections deconstructs the 4 domains and provides various services that are used in each domain, which I haven't seen in any other AWS Course.

This was a great course with very good visuals and comparative content. The best was the anti-pattern explanations. Most courses explain what an AWS service can do, not many highlight the pitfalls and incorrect assumptions that are would cause errors in exam questions. Very well done!!
