AWS Cost Management Tools (Cost Explorer) Crash Course (Udemy.com)

Very good general overview of financial management and forecasting tools available in AWS. Would be nice if it were updated - or at least reviewed - more recently than 6 years ago, since AWS controls change frequently.

This is great information. I did have trouble following along on getting the EC2: Running costs by Purchase Option. I had to select the Group By: Purchase Option. Somehow, I missed this after watching and rewatching the lesion a couple times.

It's good to know basics of cost explorer. Course should be updated periodically.

Great course, it should be made into a longer one with more details of data analysis, use cases, integration of reports with other tools. It has great potential at the moment it's an intro.

The quality of videos is pretty poor; zooming in and making his presentation readable would have helped a lot. Zooming into the screen on my end doesn't even help!! I really advise to redo all the video lectures.

Great course on Cost Management: brief and straight to the point. Note that some of the aws screens referred in this material are now (June 2022) outdated. Yet, the core information remains VERY useful, well explained and delivered in easy to follow short-lectures. I totally recommend it for Ops and Finance people as introduction training regarding aws cost.

I'd love to understand what some of the different services mean. From someone with a non-technical background, i dont know what EC2, Savings Plans, etc mean. Would be great to briefly explain this throughout this course. If there is a different course that helps teach these things, i'd love to take it!
