The course till now has been okay, I still cant comment whether this course is good or bad but then I have rated 3.5 stars according to his teaching style and the depth of knowledge he is sharing.. Editing the rating to 4 stars, i am getting confidence, practicing your videos

Some unresolved issues forced me to stop participating in labs. I was unable to publish, something about GIT Hub enabled. While researching people said go to X press Y. But I didn't have the options they said in the blogs. Course was good and covered great topics. I have 20 years experience in IT and data analysis. I have the following to say about Azure (I am not saying this about the course). Azure is the slowest, most over engineered and possibly worst product I have ever seen. On the other hand it does accomplish things. The things which used to be accomplished simply via SQL code are now accomplished complexly with 100,000 data points to possibly interact with in the Azure GUI. A user must click on multiple tabs, manage a clunky back and forth, sit and wait a long time for things to happen across the internet. Examples of terrible product are taking a data set 90x8, and it took 6 minutes to load from source A to source B.

I would have preferred some additional use cases showing how to use Data bricks notebooks from data factory since that is being used everywhere nowadays

Few points for author to consider - - Could cover topics on Optimization techniques and performance improvement. - Any limitations of the tool. - Real time scenarios already covered but could cover some more scenarios (For example ; In case of Look up, what if multiple rows matched ? how to deal with it) - Good job for this wonderful compilation Feedback on the course - Very good course for those who are yet to start working or just started working with Azure Data Factory. Amit has done a good job explaining all the basics in simple and understandable language. This course will get you started with tool and covers most of common real time scenarios. Having said that, not all the options/settings for each transformation is covered thoroughly. That is for us to explore in depth. Is this course good for certification ? - I just cleared DP-200 exam so I believe I can answer this question. This course is not prepared from a certification standpoint. There are certain approaches to prepare for certification and this course is not the way for it.

Helped me understand from basics. This course is the reason why I developed interest in Axure data factory and am enjoying my work. Thanks a lot @Amit Navgire.

i couldn't copy files from one folder to another ,wildcard filename @(item().name) doesn't work, and if i write @item().name doesn't give any error but it doesn't do the copy

Excellent course. One suggestion is to explain the functions of various activities. That will give students a clear picture of what to use.

Nice illustration hope SCD Type 1 and Type 2 could have been parameterized. These are patterns and this can be automated like data load from Source to BLOB - or ADLS Gen V2
