Our take
Based on the ratings of 815 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in March 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
This is a Selenium and Azure DevOps course for testers who know what a test case is and want to see one run in a pipeline. It runs about 9.7 hours across 100 lectures, and roughly a third of that is Selenium WebDriver with C# and MS Test in Visual Studio. The rest covers Git, setting up an Azure DevOps project, team permissions, build and release pipelines, branch policies, scheduled runs and continuous integration with GitHub. Ace Automation Academy, an Australian team of test automation architects, teaches it, and the syllabus was last refreshed in March 2026.
Most of the 815 reviews are positive, with 715 giving four or five stars. Reviewers like the step-by-step flow and the complete path from writing a Selenium test to integrating it in Azure DevOps. One calls the trainer knowledgeable and accurate. The complaints are specific, though. One reviewer says the author mostly reads slides without explaining what each option does, and that pipeline setup hits parameter inconsistencies. Two say the code is not shown in full or will not run locally. Another saw random test failures and guessed at an unclosed driver or missing waits.
Treat it as a basic, practical walkthrough, not a deep reference. A 2024 reviewer called parts outdated against current Azure DevOps and C#, and noted that it only builds one pipeline with one set of tests. Several reviewers also say questions in the Q&A go unanswered, so plan on solving problems yourself. If you already have Selenium tests and need to wire them into Azure, it is a fair fit. People after advanced pipeline design should look elsewhere.
Pros
- Follows one path from first Selenium test to scheduled and CI-triggered runs in Azure DevOps
- Covers the team side too: added members, permissions, pull requests and branch policies
- Step-by-step demos that reviewers found easy to follow, with clear concept explanations
- Updated in March 2026 and rated 4.6 across 815 reviews
Cons
- Instructor reportedly reads slides instead of explaining what each pipeline option does
- Some code is not shown in full and some steps are dated, so local runs can fail
- Q&A questions reportedly go unanswered, in some cases for years
Well structured, step-by-step instructions, good example. Complete process of testing with Selenium and integration in Azure DevOps
Needs only basic testing knowledge, but beginners may struggle if pipeline settings have changed since the demos.

Seria conveniente se mostrara todo el codigo nuevo asi como loas ajustes al codigo. En algunas practicas no se ve completo por lo que al probar en local despliegan error

Overall it is a highly valuable course for anyone looking to enhance their automation testing skills within the Azure ecosystem. It effectively combines theory with practical application, making it a great resource for both novice and experienced testers. I would recommend it to anyone interested in modern testing practices and DevOps integration.

A detailed explanation of processes and technology employed in the industry. After this course, all I will need is to seek for advanced position and responsibilities.

The course is quite good for starters, especially the Selenium and Azure parts. The drawbacks are: 1) There can be lots of parameters inconsistency cases while setting up pipelines/releases in Azure 2) The author mostly does not explain how every option actually works thus there is sometimes lack of in-depth explanation, but only slide-reading.

I find this course very helpful for me. My group has already built selenium tests but we are in the process of using Azure Devops to execute the scripts. Thanks for this course.

Excellent teaching with a lot of examples, what I like the most is that for every concept he shows an actual example

Basic. Only foundational knowledge. Missing important topics such Reporting, Screenshot attachments, Email distribution, SpecRun specific config and others.
