This course was helpful with the production side of things, such as setting up an ACX account, the basics of recording and editing, and also touches on the business side of things. Although I wish there had been more tips for actual narration, I felt this course is a great base to get started in the narrating world.

Instructor Bio
Bailey Varness has been working in the voice-over industry for over 15 years now. She is most known for her extensive work in audiobook narration, where she now has over 65 titles on Audible and counting.
She has also performed voice work commercially for many companies, including Nabisco and Tylenol. She too can be heard in award winning radio dramas for NPR.
As a proud alum of Case Western Reserve University, Bailey earned a Masters in voice and performance, alongside several Emmy and Tony award winners. She has worked with the best of the best in the entertainment industry and continues to thrive in this challenging, but exciting field.
Bailey now wants to take what she has learned and share it through Voice Work Academy so others too can thrive using their voices to find professional and personal freedom.
