How to Master Audible Work From Home (Udemy.com)

I'm only on Section 2 of Ms. Bailey Varness's lesson and I have been all in and engaged from the beginning. Which is rare for me. She's very enthusiastic, without being annoying. She actually exudes a great deal of authenticity. It seems like she really loves her career and is genuinely honored to share what she knows. Her delivery is straight to the point, genuine and engaging. I'm actually having a hard time stepping away. I gotta go eat now though. Thanks a bunch Ms. Bailey for creating this lesson. It's sooo extremely helpful and I'm learning a lot.

I really enjoyed this course! Bailey has a warm and inviting demeanor and she explains things very clearly. I found the information to be very helpful. The only thing that would improve this course is if the tech specifications could be updated. Some of the info she has shared regarding programs ie Levelator isn't relevant now. Also she doesn't mention ACX check which needs to be done before submitting an audition. Thanks for a great course, Bailey!

Clear, concise, covered everything.

This course was helpful with the production side of things, such as setting up an ACX account, the basics of recording and editing, and also touches on the business side of things. Although I wish there had been more tips for actual narration, I felt this course is a great base to get started in the narrating world.

I've been thoroughly researching Voice Over courses and techniques for over a month now. As someone with zero experience in the VO field, this class has been one of the best ones I've taken! Compared to other classes I've taken, this one covers all the basics! Love this class!

Bailey explains the entire process start to finish. She keeps you engaged the entire time and the process doesn't seem to daunting anymore. She breaks it down so it's easy for us beginners to grasp and understand it all. She doesn't overwhelm you with information and sets you up for success. Thanks so much for this course Bailey! :)

Soooo much valuable information!

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The questions section was very helpful. Bailey is pleasant to listen to. She gives you the minimal equipment needs that are quite reasonable. One of the most helpful hints was how to adjust your voice to do accents and different genders. I would suggest that she add the fact that Audacity will only stay on top with auto scroll if the document is a PDF. I was very pleased with this course and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into narration/voiceover.

I never leave a perfect review; it leaves no room for improvement. I confess, however, that I nearly broke my rule this time. Bailey, you brought a wealth of knowledge and experience producing audiobooks to the table and laid it out in neat little piles. Thank you! You covered everything I needed to begin my journey, but equally important is the fact that you didn't waste any of my time with superfluous details or unedited material. I am impressed with your clean, no-nonsense recipe for producing quality audiobooks. I also appreciated your general disposition and your pleasant voice. Actually, I am going to break my rule and give you the full five stars. (Just don't go resting on your laurals.) Thanks again.
