The instructor explains everything in a clear, engaging, and highly professional way, making even complex topics easy to understand. What I really appreciate is that the course is accessible even for people with little or no background in music production or Ableton Live. The lessons are well-structured, easy to follow, and packed with practical knowledge. You can tell the instructor has deep expertise and a genuine passion for teaching.

Simon is a great teacher of EDM. He shows you how to make beats that make you want to dance. He teaches how to use Ableton Live as a DJ and how to make remixes to dance to. He teaches you how to use the buttons and dials on a MIDI controller to keep the dance floor bouncing. If you want to be a DJ or make great EDM, this is the course for you.

Like most people who open up Ableton for the first time I was completely baffled by the amount of stuff in the browser and the various windows. Ableton wasn't the first DAW that I had used but it was fundamentally different in many respects. Messed about in it for a while but never managed to get to it's full potential so I left it and went to previous DAWs. However always at the back of my mind I felt Ableton had much more to offer if I could only get to grips with it, so I decided to enrol on this couse with Udemy. This course has really begun to open up the possibilities of the program. Simon is a great tutor and now I'm finding possibilities that I really didn't know existed.

In my opinion, this is an excellent course because it's well thought out. Simon truly knows what he's teaching and why it should be taught this way. It's ideal for beginners because his approach facilitates practical implementation. It's perfect for those like me who have experience but had no idea what it meant to make music that you don't just sit down to listen to, but dance to, perhaps in a club, and actively experience. It's precisely when you know it well that you encounter the greatest difficulties (changing styles or genres). People like Simon are honest, and this shines through in all the modules, and they really help you understand. When I need to learn, I look for a course on the fundamentals because anyone can complicate things.

This course has filled in all the gaps in my knowledge and made me fall in love with music production all over again. The other Ableton courses I have done are like preparing for your driving theory Exam, but this course teaches you how to drive! Many useful tips that I will keep on using for a long time. I have made quite a lot of musics in the past but never on Ableton or electronically with that kind of gear.
