Course Description

A complete guide to the development of ideas for in-silico research to the publication of a paper - yes this is what you get

From idea development for research to writing and publishing a paper, yes that is what you get. Learn the basics of data analysis for gene expression analysis, molecular docking, visualization of the docked complex, enrichment analysis, microRNA identification production of publication-quality images, writing a research article properly, and using Zotero - a free reference management tool. In this course, you will be getting a proper idea of how can a set of genes can be used to design drugs and how using molecular docking techniques we can validate our results for the best drug. You will be getting a good idea of 'drug repurposing' also after the completion of the hands-on training session associated with this course. No prior knowledge or skills are required to attain this course and this course is deliberately kept straightforward for new learners.

In this course, you will get all the necessary skills required to write a research article on your own, guidelines for selecting a proper journal for your manuscript, and also you can extend these research ideas to wet-lab experiments as well.

ALL THE BEST:)

I love the discussion, especially the part where you discussed molecular docking. I appreciate the detail in each discussion. Could you provide short definitions of what the analysis are about? I got lost in the first few parts and had to conduct my own review to understand the analysis and its application. Overall, I loved the discussion. Thank you.

This is a very good course for beginners. Concise and straight to the point. I would recommend it for beginners in bioinformatics

By Shweta Gite on 11/1/2023

"My experience with this course on Udemy was somewhat average. The course content was decent, covering the basics of the topic, but it didn't go into as much depth as I had hoped for. The instructor was knowledgeable, but their teaching style felt a bit dry and could have been more engaging. The course provided some useful materials, but I found that additional resources or practical examples would have been beneficial to better understand the subject. The pace of the course was moderate, but it might not be suitable for those looking for a more in-depth exploration of 'Insilico.' I would say it was okay in terms of value for money, but I've seen other courses on similar topics that offered a more comprehensive learning experience at a similar price point. I also didn't find a strong sense of community or support within the course, which could have enhanced the overall learning experience.

Actually I didn't have any idea about molecular docking. But after completing this course my interest in biological research has increased. Thank you a lot sir. I recommend everyone to complete this course.

By Deepanjan sarkar on 1/22/2023

one of the finest courses ever designed on this topic, highly recommended for those who want to start their research in this field, easily understood and well explained.

By Ming-Der Lin on 11/19/2022

More explanation about the theory and the use and adjustment of parameters is needed, instead of just indicating which bottom should be pressed for a specific process. For example, in the "Molecular Docking study" the theory and parameter setting are not explained in detail. This really need an improvement.

By Amrita Jana on 6/27/2022

This course was informative and very well explained .Got to learn a whole new topic which grew my interest on reasearch field.Very helpful and highly recommend for the beginners.

By Sushmita Bhowmick on 4/30/2022
