In the setup/preferences video he assumes we know what in the hell he's talking about. I thought this course was for beginners.

There's a lack of variation in voice and emphasis during delivery. The material is good but the small range in tone and constant pacing of words is making it more difficult to stay attentive to the lesson.

Chris's sharp, quick delivery lets him delivery detailed info in quantity. I've watched several training videos on Davinci Resolve and this has been the best. As I progress I'll be checking for his more advanced courses. Ed

the guy talks really fast so i wouldn't recommend this coarse for the very beginner i've edited on fcp for light editing animation and effects so i consider myself still a begainner, i can barley keep up with his teachings but its almost like fcp so i'm not lost and i can follow this teacher ilike that this is a speed coarse because i'm just getting the facts i also ordered a more indepth coarse with a lot of down loadable footage so i ca take my time which the type of editing i want to perform but b/c i'm new to de Vinci its nice that this teacher goes through all that he does in a quick pace

Of all of the video courses I've got from Udemy This guy is the best instructor I've seen. I'm up and running with Resolve 17 so fast. I've since ordered another of his courses. Great stuff!

This is what I was looking for. A quick explanation of the basic functions that are required to edit several clips into a video with titles, text, transitions and audio background for my drone videos
