The course has been a bit outdated and will require some googling. It would be great if the course author replaced those outdated parts with new best practices, e.g. using go mod. Overall, it gives a good intro into gRPC and creating micro-services.

Decent intro to microservices with gRPC and Go. You won't learn to code from this course, but you will learn the basics of building microservices with gRPC and Go. You should know basic programming, ideally some Go before starting. The course doesn't go into much depth on any of the topics, however it's a good little end to end project to build. I'd say do this course, then take it upon yourself to refactor the code and apply best practices etc.
