In contrast to the course description this is only "Part1" of the whole course. You need to buy the "Part2" additionally if your interested in the machine learning and object recognition part. This course (Part1) shows the car assembly and the image processing part. This is well explained, although the Raspberry and Arduino Part might be a bit to fast and under documented. But regarding that the course description is fully misleading the buyer of that course, I have to give only 1/5 stars.

Plus: -real project -complex -include the code and the description of everything you need Minus: -made you believe there's only one course when you really have to pay 2 courses. That really disgust me. If this didn't happened I would have given at least a 4 star rating. -bad coding style(that's not a really great problem after all, just telling) like function names starting in uppercase, the massive use of global variables(this practice is discouraged in general, etc.

Thanks from Turkey. You have a very good expression. I would like the 2nd course to be cheaper :) But still very good. I finished the course but I haven't built the car yet. So I'll watch it one more time. I hope you answer them if I have questions. Thanks again. Best wishes.

This course covers the details I needed to understand robotics platform control. The additional benefit is the programming environment was made available as a download. I was able to setup the Raspberry Pi in the remote access mode with minimal effort. All the proper software packages were availablefor this function. This Instructor provides tools that can benefit the Linux users with a wide range of skills.

Very nice course for using OpenCV in a real project and making the car see the road lane. I learned a lot about it and finally have complete learning of opencv-python tutorials. Although I didn't use the opencv image processing quite well now but I have a new view with computer vision indeed. I hope to dig deeper for machine learning with the self-driving toy car.

To be perfectly clear, you have to pay for the second course if you want it, it isn’t parts 1 and 2 of the second course. Second, I like our instructor, and I do think he is getting the important information across. There are a few English errors such as “histrogram” instead of course of histogram and accent issues such as “reason of interest” instead if I presume region. My biggest complaint is his coding is not good. He makes everything a global variable, ignores patterns for naming things (capitalization), has errors such as checking for steering 20 (ie what if it is equal to 20). He also ignores creating constants on the pi code, at one point setting a global variable equal to the same hard coded value inside his frame processing. On more of a style note, he doesn’t consistently indent, including no indentation inside a while loop, he uses a bunch of if else if statements instead of an easier to read switch statement. So, I am enjoying the course, but if you are not a strong enough programmer to deal with these types of examples, I would think twice about this course.

Whenever you make an electronics related project, you will encounter problems with the circuit. And sometimes even after working on it for several hours we are unable to find out what errors were there in the circuitry, what components stopped working and if any circuit connections were wrongly connected. In short dealing with an electronics project is just such a hectic task we all know. Coming to the course part, I guarantee you from my side that if you go by sir's way, sir will make everything much easy for you from explanation to connection errors to circuitry, everything sir is always there to help you. Just go by how sir is teaching and I guarantee you that you will make your own self driving car and you will learn a lot from this course. Even the tough topics, sir has made it so easy that it becomes a cakewalk. And if you are stuck at something, sir is always there to help you, you just post a question and sir replies withing minutes to an hour. And he will help you in trouble shooting your project. I have taken several courses on Udemy but none of the instructors were so helpful and quick to respond. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get hands on with cutting edge technology and build something that they can proudly list on their resume. Note that you are expected to have basic knowledge of Arduino and sensors and basic coding with C++ and Python. Just basic knowledge as most of it will be explained by sir during the course. Because if you don't have atleast basic knowledge of Arduino then just don't rant about in the Q/A section that how sensors are sending and receiving data to/from Arduino.

For me, maybe this it the best online course I have studied. The way he teach that make me understand everything easily. Why, huh ? Because when he is talking about something he also carefully making it for you to see, from step by step, basic first and then upper and upper level that make a person who not known about Raspberry or Deep-learning before also can learn this coure. Through this course I regconize that I can solve my problem which I got stuck when i was founding the way to make a self-driving car, I can learn more about it, make for me one car for test, know more about Arduino, Raspberry, Deep-learning and Machine-learning..... And if you have a question, you can comment under the course or you can send him an email . Suprisingly that he reply your email very quick, I think you will be suprised about that, sure.

It is a very good course which covers all the grounds of modern technology and gives a brief idea of how does an image detection works. The best part is how the instructor explains everything in detail and how properly the given code is prepared so that anyone can understand it. Real time response is also very good and efficient.

I have seen many courses on udemy and other platforms but this course is all about practicality. If anybody wants to see the practical implementation of machine learning and image processing than this is the best course. Need more courses similar to this....
