The instructor really gets into the heart of establishing a business case; I am reviewing not just for my own understanding but to enlighten others on the importance of conducting business analysis based upon basic and applied research.

This is a short, focused, and practical introduction to how to think about and structure a business case so your projects actually get approved. The biggest strength of the course is clarity: it explains what a business case is, when to use it, how to structure it, and how to present it in a way that decision-makers care about. It’s especially useful if you’ve struggled to get buy-in or approvals in the past. Because it’s only about an hour long, it’s more conceptual and framework-driven than deeply hands-on, and I would have liked to see a full worked example with numbers. Still, as a concise, time-efficient course that gives you a solid mental model and checklist for writing better business cases, it delivers exactly what it promises. A good investment for project managers, business analysts, and anyone who needs to justify initiatives to management.

The essential part of having a business case can be verity from company scope and the goals that drives the each projects that brings the value to the company. Having a understand and broad perspectives can support the company in long term success in delivering successful business cases

it would be great if a business case was used during the course to have a more visual, practical and hands on way of learning it. Additionally, in section 2 some of the chapters are heavy in content and it sounds almost like an AI voice reading a text, which does not make it very appealing.

As a business Analyst, this course dives in not just how to write a business case but why a business case is needed and also why it must be a strong business case. Great but I would have loved more walk throughs on how to write cost-benefit analysis, calculate ROIs etc

A colleague recommended it to several of us and I did it. Good mastery of content and context, speaking from vast personal experience, vulnerable as a trainer, engaging and good with highlighting key principles (KISS - Keeping it Short, Sweet and Straight to the point).

Recomiendo este curso para obtener una visión rápida de lo que es un Caso de Negocio, de dónde surgen, como presentarlos a los responsables de las organizaciones en tomar decisiones y poder hablar con propiedad de este tipo de trabajo. Es un conocimiento importante para analistas de negocios/funcionales, jefes de proyectos, consultores para tener una base inicial en el desarrollo de casos de negocio, es en inglés por lo que se requiere de una comprensión del idioma para nativos de otras lenguas. La duración de una hora hace posible preparar el tema rápidamente de cara a una entrevista de trabajo, una solicitud de preparación de caso de negocio, y como base para profundizar en el tema. Muy buena impresión del instructor.

As usual, Mr Ballinger's presentation and course content are excellent. Very clear and practical instruction on how to organize and develop an effective business case paper / presentation. Highly recommend this course for any seeking a good general overview of how to put a strong business case together.

Really useful and it was good and insightful . May be request you share the Business case template for start up or a small business which can scale up gradually .. or Business case template where we have a broader social objective in mind say caring for the aged who dont have much of financial luxury to afford one.

This is a great course! Short and to the point. It really helped me wrap my head around the reason certain things are needed in a business case as well as help me organize my thoughts when approaching a new idea.
