Paul is such an amazing instructor. I learnt so much in this course that I feel confident in starting as a QS developer for my clients. The course is extremely well structured and delivered at a very reasonable pace. Plenty of hands-on activities made it easier to ingest the theoretical concepts. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get familiar with Qlik Sense, which is in itself a wonderful platform for analytics. My recommendation would be to follow Paul's advice and take as much time as possible to practise and experiment concepts, over and over again, to solidify your understanding. The course has about 14 hours of video, but you can assume that you'll need about 3 times that time to make sure you make the best out of this course. And definitely join the Qlik Community as you have access to a vast repository and incredible amount of support then.

Sehr gute Einführung in Qlik, sehr engangierter und kompetenter Trainer; bei einigen Punkten (z.B. Arbeiten mit Variablen) hätte ich mir genauere Erklärungen erhofft.

This course really helps to prepare peoples who are new to qlik sense and coming from qlikview to have a better understanding of how qlik sense work. Paul have provide clear guidance on each lectures on not just how to use but optimise the app created in qlik sense. Coming from excel i would say that qlik sense support more chart types with D3.js visualization extensions and saves alot of time and efforts in making new charts from scratch. It is really a tool more suitable for presentation and storytelling vs excel dashboard or powerpoint with support of raw Big Data for drill down.

The course not only offers a very comprehensive introduction to the QlikSense to novices but also provides a great overview of its functionality and prepares the student for further learning. In addition, the lessons are highly practical that gives even greater value to this course. Evey aspect of that course shows that instructor is experienced professional analyst who knows WHAT can be done with QlikSense, not just an academic or a guy who learned the software. I'd very happy to see more (advanced) courses from Paul Scotchford.

It is a great course for people who are new to Qlik Sense. Paul is a great instructor who walks you through the functionalities without overwhelming you by any of the complexities. Also very friendly and quick to respond to queries. I will be looking forward to registering for more of the contents posted by him on Qlik and any other analytics platform.

Going throught the QlikSense course was a great learning experience for me. Since I had a chance to undertake the QlikView course (by Paul), this course helped me to revisit and solidify many concepts that are similar in both products. I would like to thanks Paul for putting up such a nice course and sharing his experience with his students. Amazing course, Loaded with content. Very well structured and organized. Hands-on practices and Quizzes helped to stay engaged and connected with the course. Paul, ensured to show new feature as we move along with each section to create excitement. I would strongly recommend this course. Worth every penny. Eventhough, I am using QlikSense 3.0, the course material did not go out of sync, was able to manage with year old material.

I was trying to learn qlik sense by myself using the tutorials and forums provided by the Qlik.com but I kept getting stuck with unanswered questions and missing information. I was extremely happy to find this course! So far it includes everything i was looking for (i am half way through now): a logical learning curve, simple and clear instructions on how to cherry pick the data you want from your database and display it in multiple ways. And the best part in my opinion - it is all done on "real" company data along with explanations as to why and how to display different types of data. So not only do you acquire the technical knowledge on how to use Qliksense, you also get an glimpse into "behind the scenes" data analysis thought process. That's an extra bonus for me! I highly recommend this course.

This is course is very well designed for the price. My version of Qlik was different so some of the features used was not available. Also, some of the examples were slightly different causing my initial errors but you can quickly trace this. For example, KPI chart reference illustrated showed "Online Profit forecast" vs "Online profit forecast". The difference of lower case "p" is only found if you open the workbook and look at the text. Those type of differences causes me to rate this a 4 instead of 5, BUT this product is still very good!
