Course Description
Are you ready to launch your journey into the world of data analysis? This comprehensive beginner-level course is designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and hands-on experience needed to succeed as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer in today’s data-driven world.
Through a step-by-step learning path, you’ll explore everything from the basics of data types and sources to the more practical application of cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data. You’ll start by understanding what a Data Analyst does and how their role supports business decision-making. Then, you'll dive into the full data analysis process, learning how to work with different data formats, perform data collection, and handle common data quality issues.
You’ll work with popular tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python (with Pandas), and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. These tools are widely used in industry and will allow you to perform real-world tasks such as data cleaning, data transformation, database querying, and interactive dashboard creation.
In the Excel section, you’ll master essential spreadsheet techniques including formulas, pivot tables, sorting/filtering, and conditional formatting. You'll then move to SQL, where you’ll learn how to write basic to intermediate queries, perform JOINs, filtering, aggregations, and manipulate data with INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.
Next, you’ll explore data visualization and exploratory data analysis (EDA) using both Excel and business intelligence platforms. You’ll learn how to choose the right chart, apply data storytelling techniques, and build interactive dashboards with slicers, filters, and drilldowns. These skills are crucial for presenting insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
The course also introduces you to Python for data analysis, focusing on the Pandas library, along with basic visualizations using Matplotlib and Seaborn. These tools are essential for those looking to transition into more technical roles or enhance their analytical capabilities.
Toward the end of the course, you’ll focus on communicating insights through well-structured presentations, storytelling with data, and delivering findings to non-technical stakeholders. These soft skills are just as important as technical ones in a successful data career.
Whether you're a student, career switcher, or working professional looking to add data analysis to your skill set, this course is structured to help you succeed—even with no prior experience.
By the end of this course, you will:
Understand the role of a data analyst
Use Excel, SQL, and Python to clean and analyze data
Build dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
Tell compelling data stories that drive action
Enroll today and take the first step toward becoming a job-ready data professional with the tools, techniques, and confidence to work with data in any industry.

Yes it was a good match. Chapters starts from scratch and goes from 0 to 10 without leaving any details behind. I would say a good course for building foundational ideas and knowledge on data analyst journey.

the course is self explanatory, I appreciate it, but it needs more examples because it might be hard for someone that don't have a foundational knowledge in SQL to understand.
By Garba Ganiyu Itopa on 1/5/2026
In my opinion, the course is well explained and as such makes it easy to understand
By Ma Glenda Javier on 8/23/2025
I don't have any experience with the tools, so i have no idea yet. I suggest learning the tools is good before learning this course. But i had an idea and learned about what to expect in a data analysis.
By Sulaimon Asia Morenike on 8/17/2025
It’s was far beyond my expectations I’m so grateful for the glamorous opportunity now it’s time to turn the knowledge acquired into something big
