Cisco ASA firewall basics (Udemy.com)

I missed setting up the lab I missed having a topology so you know how the setup should be I also missed structure as I only had bits and pieces of the configuration then all of a sudden we configured nat then the whole config and the actual configuration.. overal a good course but it was to much all over the place..

Very educational, and easy (most of the time) to follow along. There were times I had to pause and rewind to better understand concepts, cause he moves pretty quick. I did appreciate that as the lectures progressed, he would take moments to pause and reexplain concepts he sped through. Overall, worth the few bucks to get yourself educated on the core basics of Cisco ASAs.

thank you jimmy for your effort, I enjoyed the course , but it was too basic and short, a lot of topics are missing. would love to get involved with a more advanced and professional course.

I really enjoyed this course and got a lot out of it. Jimmy is very precise and thorough in the points that he covers. He presents the material in a very logical order and keeps you engaged. He hits all the bases for the beginner and intermediate student. He did such a good job on this course, that I bought all of his other courses as well.

The course is clear and useful. But the instructor speaks a bit too fast for the beginner to catch up, especially during the actual configuration. It's better to highlight the configurations that we need to look at. Please include the part on how to use GUI to configure the firewall.

Course was exactly what I needed, great overview on setting up a new Cisco ASA firewall. Only thing I would like, is a written copy of many of the commands Jimmy used. I found myself having to jump around the recordings so I could find the section covering the Cisco ios CLI commands.

Overall, the presentation was very good and his explanations were clear and applied to the real world. The only negatives are that I would have preferred more exercises and it did seem like the last 2 videos were done in a rush. This was definitely worthwhile training.

This is a very good fundamental course which covers all of the basic configuration of the ASA. The function of all the command line configurations were clearly explained.

A good intro into fire walls I followed it almost to the end, but it gets a bit deep so I will have to re watch the last bit again cheers Jimmy. Third time watching, this time I am the proud owner of an ASA5505 the course made more sense with me playing alongside. Just about to do your ASA 5505 VPN course Ok watched it again got it this time
