Clear and Simple AWS Advanced Security 2022 (Udemy.com)

This is the 4th or 5th course I take from Rick Crisci and, as usual, he did not disappoint. His calmed but encouraging delivery makes complicated concepts very simple to understand and digest. He really has a natural talent to teach this stuff. Regarding the course itself, it is very concise and mixes very well both the refresher basic AWS concepts I learned from previous courses and the (new for me) AWS security topics that I came here for. The 100+ questions practice exam at the end is the cherry on top. An eye opener assessment of my current AWS Security knowledge. I took it once, thinking I was going to nail it but I got humbled very soon and made me realized which are my weak points so I can go back to the drawing board and make emphasis in such areas. Will retake it ASAP. Thanks Rick, you nailed it again.

The instructor explains the concepts of security in a good and short designed way (Instructor explains some topics fast). However the final quiz doesn't provide satisfactory explanations for most of the questions. I'd rather to see the instructor's self explanations instead of addressing the documentation. Documentation can not address the wrong options. I would like to see why the wrong options are actually wrong. By the way some of the questions don't have the answers at corresponding links. Here are some examples; - 34: link doesn't include the correct answer. - 48: No explanation. - 49: Doesn't address the correct answer., - 57: Insufficient explanation

Very useful and informative course. It is highly engaging and Rick has put huge effort to make it so. Course contents are spot on. I learnt a lot about security as well as AWS Cloud in general with those additional notes and points during the lectures. Video and audio quality is excellent, Thanks a lot Rick.

This is a very good, hands on course. I was able to follow the examples for the most part. I might need a little updating on the interface shown on video, but amazon sometimes updates it so much that it is hard to keep up. I will buy more from this author.

Rock is very clear and explains all the topics touched in a very good manner. It’s also nice that he speaks slowly and with a very easy accent, so it’s awesome for those who are not English mother tongue

Amazing presentation and demo, the instructor definitely seems knowledgable and is able to explain in a simple and efficient manner. I specifically subscribed to this course as I was not able to grasp the details of key management via some other course, Guess what? I am glad that I made that decision.

Believe me or not, this is the ONLY course I took the pass the AWS Security Specialty certification in addition to the many AWS reinvent videos. Rick is very clear about the concepts and walks through the exact specifics that is key to passing the exam. Great job Rick, owe you a big one.

I'm conflicted about this course. Parts of it seem very rudimentary and more Solutions Architect than Security Specialty, but then Rick hits a topic that's right on point and done very well. Overall, I feel like this is hitting all the talking points for the exam, but I don't feel like it's making me an AWS Security Specialist - kind of like knowledge without the context. I will say the production value is excellent.

This is short and to-the-point presentation, but it is a bit short on coverage and content. It covers most of the stuff, and asks you to learn on your own for the details. I took this course together with Zeal Vora's in Udemy, and that combination seems to be perfect. This one can be used to grasp big picture, and Zeal's can be used for detailed nitty gritty.

Rick does an excellent job stepping you through each security detail to help you understand what you need tp understand security concepts. So far through 5 lesson's, he is very heavy on the demonstration which helps you understand the concepts.
