Complete 2022 Data Science & Machine Learning Bootcamp (Udemy.com)

There is a lot of time that id dedicated to chart plotting, which I'm not saying it is not important, but there are more impotant things that were missed. For example, how to clean data, what functions to use to filter and change the data at column and cell level in the dataframe. The examples used had all number columns and dealing with categorical data, encoding, imputing, standardizing were deliberately left out, being these an important part of the Machine Learning work. It was not only until video #71 that a model was fitted, and up to video #80 when predictions were made. I am not very satisfied with this course because it seemed it focused more on creating charts and less in working with data.

I thought about a lot, what would be the proper rating. I finished the course, and spent around 2-3 months with it. pros: - the material is great - the lecturer is really good, - the quality is excellent. - gradient descent, open cv, some java script, and you will have at the end a working deep learning module. - and you work with dataframes as well - good theoretical explanations cons: (and this is a big one. The material is getting outdated. Like a lot.) - the boston data set will be removed, which had a big part in the eraly part of the course - some seabor and matplotlib commands changed since - it uses tensorflow v1, which makes a lot searching - with mac m1 was a struggle with the tensorflow js(and tensorflow as well), actually i spent over two days and was not able to make it. (which was not a problem, but i wanted to do that) so finally: if you are intrested this is a great course, if you have coding background, and not bother to solve this changes. I had it aorund 10-15 euros. It is a great value for it. But after this you will need some fresh material as well.

Very nice course, explaining how things work in detail and under the hood, but also showing the easier shorter version, to understand what's really going on. Just a little disappointing that the course did not get updated for the Tensorflow 2.0 version and still uses the old version. You can still follow along just fine, just use tf.compat.v1 instead of just the tf.

I really enjoyed going through the course. I came from non-programing background it took me more than a year to complete the course. However section 11 (tensorflow) needs to be updated since tensor flow version 2 has been released and it no longer support for the most functions that module introduced. Apart from that this is a great course with excellent teaching methods. I hope to see more projects from Phillip in the future !

This course deserves 5 stars because: the onscreen presentation is very clean and clear, the subjects are very clearly explained, there’s a good balance between theory and practical application and the teacher has excellent teaching skills! All in all a brilliant course which has certainly piqued my interest in ML and DL and basically Data Science in general and I wish to improve my skills as a result of this course. Many thanks!

The best course I made in Udemy, so far! Philipp Muellauer is an amazing instructor. In this course you will learn not only machine learning covered with different and exciting projects, but also good cooding techniques in Python and even aesthetic tips for your data visualizations. I really liked the slides, so easy to read to understand (something that normally is not so good in most online courses). It was a real pleasure to make this course. Highly recomended for someone with zero knowledge about Machine Learning. Kudos to Phillipp!!!!

The course itself is very good. But you might want to know two important things: - The teacher is not responding to any questions in Q&A section. I guess it's fine cos actually you can find all info by just Googling your question. Most times it helps - Which is more important, last two sections are out of date. The sections are dedicated to NNs, but the code provided doesn't work since the Tensorflow library was changed so many times after the videos were recorded... But unfortunately, the lessons didn't. And the Tensorflow topic is pretty hard to figure out on Google (that's why I bought the course) Eventually, I've definitely learnt some new stuff, but not really what I wanted from the very begining (since I was interested in the NN topic in the 1st place)

Literally I enjoyed this course so much. This is one of the best courses in Machine Learning and Data Science, I can tell there is so much effort and hard-working put into this course it’s very informative and everything explained very well. Actually I was getting very excited each time to start the next video the tutor style gives you great energy to complete learning so you don't want to stop. It was really a fantastic and interesting course. Thanks, Philipp you’re a great instructor.

Very good Data Science and Machine Learning course, the best part is the mindset to understand in-depth what is going on and now only using scikit-learn or other frameworks to build ML models with hands-on projects. Another remarkable topic is how to user Tensorflow and how to deploy your model as a web application! what is really uncommon to see in many courses or ML tutorials. Why not 5 stars? Some topics need to be updated for example: Handwritting Classification --> Must adapt the code for Tensorflow 2.0 (Beginners may be lost if they need to adapt the code by themselves). In addition, I would recommend check the course structure / cohesion. Some parts are confusing and massively long. Example: Naive Bayes Spam classification needs more clarity in some topics, as well as better separation for data visualization techniques, python programming laguage as an extra topic.

This is an amazing course. I've picked it up as a beginner having an IT background. It both covers the Python and Data Science mentality (tips, tricks, logic, theory) pretty much extensively. There are sections difficult enough (for me) but the course pace is really adaptable. There are points in the course that the attendee needs to search some additional information over the internet, but I consider it a true learning experience. The narration is very very good and combined with the lifetime access I tagged it as an "101" chapter.

I enjoy the pace of the course and the materials in the beginning that detail what would be needed to be successful.
